I still play a good amount of games on the regular monitor... I tried
playing some games in "desktop" mode but the resolution is just simply
not there to play "regular" games in VR... can't read text well, input
lag is intolerable for anything compet...
some of it is yea... likely because HTC has more experience building
electronics and shipping them around the world... but I would guess most
of the reasons why you can buy Vive now but you're still waiting for day
