I gota 5820k and g1 gaming as well, and all the official VR release
games are child splay. This means you can afford to use high resolution
scaling/ multi sampling to get improved visuals without sacrificing
framerate!
Indeed, with your OC your fine as per single thread perf. The issue is
no chipset from that generation has suitable USB3 ports. This is easily
solved by a 4 port USB3 -PCIe card though!
