Apparently, there are many reports of Quest 2 devices getting bricked
(unbootable state) immediately after updating to v72. Meta should
address these claims asap and block the update if

The problem persisted in version 69, today I received version 71 and the
issue hasn't been resolved yet. The behavior is exactly the same, with
the battery indicator stuck at 100% even while the battery has actually
been depleted, and low battery war...
Just an update:I installed version 68 today and the issue persists.I
have sent in another bug report through the bug reporting tool of the
Quest 2, if there are other users affected by this bug I would suggest
you to do the same.
I am pretty sure the issue began after updating from v66 to v67. I
didn't use my Quest 2 for about a month prior to updating to v66, I
received v67 a few days after updating to v67.
