Seems I'm having the same problem a lot of others have had, in that no
matter when I try (nor what time of day I try it) the oculus app will
not install without the "Can't connect... it looks like we can't reach
the oculus server" issue that seems to...
Thanks for all the replies. I neglected to update my post. About a week
after the post I was able to get the app to download. It did take a
couple of attempts (where it stopped at around 2 GB) but it did at least
get to the download part those 3 time...
The same thing is happening to me. I've had nothing but 'cant connect'
errors when trying to install the oculus app (not games, just the app
itself). I managed to get connected exactly once (late last night) over
dozens and dozens of tries, and it go...

96%. Wasn't anything I did to get it to start as far as I know.
