Hi,When I connect to my desktop PC the resolution of the desktop changes
causing the sides of my monitor to be truncated so the desktop becomes

that has USB-C in the front3) Move your PC so that it's accessible4)
Plug it in at the headset end but just do it before you turn your
computer on.5) Buy a USB-C extension cable.
Suggest you look up class action lawsuits against Apple on the internet.
Apple are one of the worst companies for screwing things up, and often
deliberately so.
