factory settings. I verified that Cloud Backup was turned on. After the
reset, I had to reinstall all the games I had and game progress was not

I have the floating black box, too, and can't find a solution for it.
I'm connecting to the Oculus Rift app on my desktop with the Quest 2
over a fast cable that worked fine until the last Oculus update. Problem
does not occur on the Quest by itself....
