I found out the hard way, a mad panic shot up close after doing the same
case you putting 10 arrows in one's head, once you get where to shoot
them them become easy to kill just try to engage one at a time

I had the same issue, all i did was leave it and it seemed to download
slowly took about 45 minutes in total but i did what you did reset
everything and didn't do anything, show some patience with it:)
