Yeah, I'm a bit late to the party but I just got a GearVR and wanted to

Hm are you sure? I can't find any link to netflix in the void
cinema.[edit]I read some other comments. I get the feeling you don't
mean oculus cinema with the void room. Is there a void mode in the
Netflix app that I don't see?
