Happy ending. On some cards, the HDMI won't work if the DVI port is
being utilized. Freeing the DVI port with the monitor connected to a
displayport solved the problem.
Update :I could get back my old GTX 770 for a try. Everything works fine
with it.So, should I conclude that the HDMI port of my GTX 980ti is
defective for the rift ?For information I tried everything I could do..

the monitor, but nothing happens in the Rift. edit : when I turn off the
Rift during the demo scene, the demo scene disappear, with "tracker sync
cable disconnected" and "HMDpowere...
