trying to download the latest Unity package for The Rift and its taking
an HOUR to download a 250 mb package. serious Oculus get better servers.
and no my internet connection is fine thank you.
i am trying to figure out how to do a scene change with fading in /out
to black however the solutions ive seen seem to be for 2d ish games
anyone have an easier solution? or perhaps a youtube tutorial link or
something? thanks :-).
been four days now since cyberealities "were getting ready to start
shipping" post... any updates? is it looking like it might ship within a
day or two? some update would be nice and i dare say if they are not
ready with the SDK tommorow for whatever...

i would highly highly recommend the rift 2 have a better fov while
somehow having AT LEAST 4k resoluton overall if not per eye . at least
overall... that may require more power but........with advances like the
nvidia 10 series cards being able to so...
i still dont think the playstation vr games will look or play as good as
what can be done on the pc. the cv1 is a higher resolution (simpley
because the ps4 cant currently render beyond 1080p), and many games
currently have issues running at full 108...
i do not believe they have a desktop only mode but some may (elite
dangerous might have that option).it depends on the game.before you buy
a game i would look into seeing if you can play that game on your 2d
desktop too.it would be nice if there was ...
i got mine from ebay for 100 bucks more then the list price so overall
not terribly bad considering i figured what the hell.NOW i just need a
new graphics card lol. Oculus is not kidding when they say you need 90
fps i thought it was an over statemen...
like it or not platform exclusives will always be around. they need to
sell their units so in order to do so companies try to vie for exclusive
content you cant get anywhere else..........thankfully overall this
