would realize that my configuration is superior (in terms of latency) to
what you're recommending.
That makes less than zero sense. There is zero technical difference
between the PC using motherboard-integrated wifi, a PCIe wifi card, or
simply being LAN-wired via a switch to a standalone wifi AP.
