The square edges on the sides on the highest IPD setting is either a
manufacturing defect or a huge design failure. For me the Quest 2
doesn't even feel like VR. The narrow FOV completely kills the
immersion, and immersion is the whole point of VR. I...
It's basically Google Cardboard with better tracking.I've done some
research and the original Oculus Quest has 2 OLED screens. So when you
adjust your IPD on the original Quest the screens are moving with the

Yeah, I gifted mine to someone with a smaller IPD. I hope the Quest 3 is
an actual upgrade. Better comfort, longer battery life, two screens like
the original Quest (but with higher quality displays), better strap, and
custom IPD settings which are r...
My IPD is 70 and the Quest 2 looks really bad to me. I had to give mine
to someone with an IPD that works on the Medium setting (2). If they
continue to design super cheap headsets without comfort or diversity in

the OLED. In real life dark values are dark, so having all of the dark
values lifted via the LCD also reduces the feeling of immersion imo.The
FOV being more narrow wouldn't be so...
I'd say you will have a bad experience with the Quest 2. My IPD is about
68.5 so the clarity on the 3rd (widest) setting works for me. HOWEVER
the FOV feels super narrow compared to the Quest 1, especially since you
can also see 2 significantly obvio...
