As long as you never set the controllers down, v66/v67 do seem to have
fewer issues. I can still get the issue to show up within 30 seconds of
swapping between controllers and hand tracking though so it is not at
all fixed.

For what it's worth, I had an email bounce and assumed after reading
through this thread that it may have been due to my attachments. I
removed the attachments and my email sent with no issues.
