Can anybody shed some light on the fact that when using WMR I can push
my system harder and achieve better FPS than when using Oculus Both via
steam VR mind you, so not direct. But of course one is Steam VR > WMR
and the other Steam VR > Oculus.Here ...
Simple question..Do games purchased from Oculus Home, ones supporting
desktop mode, work in Desktop Mode without a Rift plugged in?i.e Project
Cars or anything else which is not VR exclusive?

It can't be just me wondering this.. and yeah I know it's considered a
"beta" at the moment, but when looking through oculus home, every time I
look at a product that I think I may be interested in, I just don't get
to see what it is I am considering...

I'm happy enough to wait for a replacement, this time around.. but if
the new unit turns up and has the same issue or other problems, then I
guess it will be refund time. Happy to give it a second chance though ο
