My problem was fixed out of warranty by sending off my old headset and
receiving a refurbished one after putting in a ticket. All shipping
costs were covered by Meta. They never at anytime admitted fault with

This is normal when opening up Mirror. You can adjust all manner of
stuff by clicking anywhere on the image and a Menu will pop up in the
top left hand part of the app.It's actually not a bug or problem.
Throwing the box sleeve away was no problem for me (my unit is over 2
years old). Meta accepted the serial number printed on the headset for
replacement purposes.
