finally got around to trying the quest. the answer was... 5g wifi is
still useless and makes the quest unusable. turned it back off again.
2.4g mesh is fine.
i had or posted in similar threads to this several months ago. my quest
out the box worked fine to do its firmware upgrade. i never knew which
firmware build it was, but after upgrading to v23 it pretty much became
a brick! if it could see my 5g wifi...
