No, the above does NOT address the issue.With the Elite strap plugged in
you cannot turn OFF the Quest 2. After shutdown, the Quest 2
continuously power cycles through the power meter screen and the Oculus
logo every several seconds until it complete...
It became so bad I finally had to remove my Elite strap and quit using
the battery. I instead purchased an aftermarket battery strap that
recharges the Quest battery. I was having the same problems as noted by
Naaaysmith.
Just recently my Quest 2 with Elite Strap started power cycling after
shutdown and won't power down properly. Most of the time I have to
unplug the Elite strap, at which time it boots, shut it down only on the
internal battery, then re-plug the Elite...
