Hi,Has anyone ever tried swapping out the usb port of the gearvr to
support data transfer? the workflow for dev in ue4/unity is atrocious
with having to continiously remove/replace the headset to deploy and
test.
I saw a review that said the new 2016 gearvr has a usb port on it, does
this mean you can deploy to the phone while its still inside the gearvr?
instead of continuously taking it out and putting it back in?
If Oculus were struggling to get anywhere close to the often repeated
'around $350' why didn't they create a 2nd sku without the extras and

Have Oculus stated whether nor not games/programs written using their
libraries to target the Rift will incur any form of licensing fee from
them from developers?
About the same as me, works but it can be a pain with punching wall etc
playing some games. I also had to hold the touch pad against the back
wall to fool the guardian safe area test.
