@iansvoice, the issue is that purchasing in Canadian Dollars is not
supported with American Express at this time. For now, if you can,
switch your card to another provider.Thanks for your patience as we

iansvoice, there was indeed an issue charging your credit card. Sorry
for the poor error message! We are fixing the error message, and
meanwhile, we're looking into whether the error is erroneous as well.
