the red button never appears though, so I presume it could be a bug on
oculus's end since it says that it is going to record, but then never
does.I'm running android v6 and Oculus is up to date.
@motorsep gotcha, thanks for your input! I do not see the red dot for
some weird reason, but am taken from the universal menu back into my app
after i click 'record video'.@cybereality can you help?

the 'record video' option, nothing occurs. I've been told a red-dot
should appear and it does not. Screenshots don't work either. Any
