I can use the "A" button to do a few things and the left trigger to grip
a monitor (not an enclosed window) - but what else might be available?
Also when I end up in my home environment, how do I get Dash to show up
again?Thanks for any help!Dave W.
The newest OculusVR/Client.exe (1.15) is taking 80% or (sometimes more)
of a CPU core even when a VR application is not executing. Seems quite
high of a drain on my system. I can kill it of course when I am doing
something else.
There was a time before maybe three or four months ago that I had to
always make sure to terminate OculusVR.exe before I placed my desktop PC
in sleep mode. That stopped happening until 1.13 or 1.14 (just
recently). Now, my PC wakes up after several ...
@Oculus hardware developers, Please consider having a 75Hz switchable
option for CV2. I still use the DK2 with that update rate and have no
side effects (nausea or vision issues) at all. 75 Hz provides a little
over 2 milliseconds more (~20%) to meet...
I am testing OculusVR.exe and OVRServer_x64.exe for Oculus Runtimes
version 1.10.0.309114 for CPU usage and assigning them different cores
(via CPU Affinity) and each of them are taking at least 50% of a CPU
core simply looking straight ahead on the ...
@ApollyonVR, Thanks much - I will test it out!EDIT: I think the new
version works OK with some apps but not Prepar3D (new version of FSX
flight sim) - it allows one to startup in non-VR and then switch to VR
mode. In that case, v84.1 starts and stays...
Here are the two ott.log files. They both worked fine this time but
sometimes the SS value isn't set by the new OTT version (84). I will try
to catch it failing.ThanksDave
1) Why am I getting just about EVERY executable to show up in my
Profiles list?2) The SuperSampling value is always correctly set as
specified in the 83.1 version but seems very random instead of 1.5, 1.0,
1.6,...) in the 84.0 version
This sounds more like a diffuser that is a simple optical layer (like
scotch tape) that was tried by a lot of DK2 users to reduce SDE. Similar
to the

OK, I am a little confused about why the lack of gamepad support - other
than Oculus Devs don't want to take the time. I can use Dash itself just
fine since I get a bright blue dot at the center of my gaze and I can
use the "A"" button to select what...
