I currently have 2 rooms I play in in the same house and have set up
guardian in. My main room seems to never had guardian issue, but the 2nd
room that's adjacent to the 1st room always seems to mess up where the
room is off rotation (about 30-45 deg...
I went from Quest 1 to Quest 3 and when casting/recording, instead of
showing the B&W pass-through camera it would just show a black
'void'.Now on Quest 3 it just shows everything from the camera feed with
no way to turn it off. Though I did find a Y...
I went from Quest 1 to Quest 3 and when casting/recording, instead of
showing the B&W breakthrough it would just show a black 'void'. On Quest
when in your home UI and switch to passthrough camera the
casting/recording will record it as well. I don't...
Today I powered on the Quest 3, and my guardian floor boundary is fine,
but the room setup/spatial data where it saves your walls/furniture is
really warped. I don't have a screenshot/video but it's offset about
half way into my play area forward, an...
I've been using Oculus link on PC on an older Win 10 machine and it's
installed to D:\Games\Oculus.I recently got a new AMD machine with
Windows 11, and when installing the Oculus app on there it wouldn't
allow me to install to the similar D:\Games\O...
I am still having issues with this, when the boundary in one room gets
deleted and gets forced into stationary but the boundary in the other
room is not changed. I am on Quest 3 v69.
IMO the YouTube casting is kinda poorly implemented anyways, the casting
feature doesn't connect with your account as it never asks for your YT
Stream Key for security purposes. When I tried YT casting the other
night for the first time my channel se...
The 2nd boundary is seeming to hold after I reset the floor and creating
another one on top of it. I haven't messed with setting up the spatial
data and setting up the objects in the room again because it takes a
while.
I got the 2nd room boundary fixed by resetting the floor and then
basically creating a new boundary over the old one, it didn't erase the
first one that wasn't having any trouble. However It did lose all the
spatial data so I will have to set that up...
No, I've never used that feature. It's not on by default is it, or can
another app enable it? I can check the system settings anyway to be
sure. But if it were the case then wouldn't it affect all guardians in
the house not just the one?
