I had the stuttering problem too. I tried everything and it was the
driver. Seems the last two were like that. I went all the way back to
385.28 because I had it downloaded and then it worked fine. I'm going to

I ended up downloading an old Nvidia driver from July 2017 when my rift
was running fine. I did a clean install with that driver and that fixed
my stuttering problem. It runs nice and smooth now.
I know an old discussion but I was having the same problem, I tried
everything suggested and things from other posts and nothing worked.

I ordered the headset w/sensors etc on 7/26 and it is still in the
"order" state. I ordered a third sensor on 7/27 and I received it
