Landscape vs. Vertical
I'm one of those people who is not happy with vertical (AKA sliver) pix and vids. There may not be many of us?? People who live with their phones only look at them one way, vertical- they never turn them horizontal to get to full view of something. Yet, all our big screen TVs , movie theaters, and computer monitors are landscape. So is our vision field of view. When we are driving in our cars our view is landscape, not just a little vertical slice of the road. I guess Meta is just for the FB and vertical phone users. OK, enough of my spleen venting. Just wish the glasses were capable of taking landscape pix and vids for the rest of us. Perhaps there are others who think the same way? (Note that I sometimes do take vertical pix and vids when the occasion calls for it. )214Views3likes11CommentsMeta Display glasses failed to import the image data to phone.
My mobile phone is Xiaomi 12s Ultra. I know that the data export format of the Apple system is different from that of Android. However, when I use an app to connect the device and import the captured pictures or videos, there are two problems: 1. Images: Occasionally, the file name suffix is .odProcessed.JPG, and the image format is HEIC. On the computer, it is displayed horizontally, and the image content is also horizontal; however, usually normal images are.JPG, and both the image and the content are vertical. 2. Videos: When connecting the Xiaomi 12s Ultra through the app, shooting and exporting the video, through PotPlayer, it was found that the color space was BT470BG, but when binding other phones such as OnePlus 14, after shooting and exporting the video, it was found that the color space was BT2020. Can anyone tell me what's going on here?25Views0likes0CommentsWhich video resolution should I choose?
Hi, I just bought the brand new Oakley Vanguard Meta and wanted to ask you guys, for everyday use, i.e. 60-90 minute runs and 2 to 4 hours bike rides, which I then post on Instagram and Facebook as stories or reels, which resolution did you choose? Do you prefer Hyperlapse or auto-capture footage? I have already connected Strava and Garmin to my glasses. Is it easy to post training statistics on social media? Thanks everyone50Views1like0Comments- 40Views2likes0Comments
