WEB technology for VR (React) + Raspberry Pi (Node (JavaScript) + Python Back-End)
Hello guys, I am not sure if that is the right place to ask or to get guidance, I am a fresh meat here with Oculus. I was wondering if there are any codebases or examples for using WEB technology for VR (React) + Raspberry Pi (Node (JavaScript) + Python Back-End) for Meta Quest 2. I saw a lot of code for C# and other native languages. Maybe there is some sort of wrapper with it e.g like Cordova is for hybrid mobile apps? I am a bit in a limbo now where to start (started checking UnityEngine etc., but I want very optimal solution). I work with A.I. technology where visual is limited and only reason it is used is to show camera view with addons on top like with AR. Maybe anyone can guide me or interested to know more what we are doing and can help? P.S. I would be happy to open public REPO for collaborators where we can work on that if more people want to make it. Possible to make mini-framework for it. Key features focus on roadmap: - Initial setup - Coding standards, configurations - Docker - NestJs framework (ideally for start with JS, has nice integration with Swagger) - CI / CD environment (optional) - Transfer Learning (AI. machine learning) - OpenCV, Tensorflow - Offline Support (when needed)1.1KViews1like1CommentFacebook Messenger's new AI assistant
I have had a wonderful experience using the new AI assistant in the Facebook Messenger app. I have found the response time to be phenomenally fast, and the accuracy of the responses to be excellent! I am excited about this new feature and, I am looking forward to using it and interacting with it. You guys have put a lot of work into this and I can tell that from my experiences, so far. The AI tells me it is not programmed to remember things I ask it to. Such as my preferred search engine. I figure this will eventually become an upgrade. I am very impressed with your work! And I am excited about this! The assistant also tells me that Meta and other companies share information about the software technology to further improve it. That was great news to me. Information sharing about issues with the new product can make it develop even better faster! One issue I found was that after asking the AI assistant to provide me with a link to one of Meta's Official forums to share my experiences about the product, the link provided was "(link unavailable)". I'm sure that is an issue your team will address at some point, but, I am very impressed with your work! Thank you all so much! This team is making history!2.6KViews1like1CommentLoad model onnx with Meta Quest 3
Hello I am trying to load a onnx model for object detection in MetaQuest3 but i can find any solution , I used Barracuda, Sentis inside Unity but seems there is no way to use the AI object detecton activating the camera. I am not sharing the error because there is a different error for every Barracuda/Sentis version Do you have any experience about it ?660Views0likes0CommentsRichiesta di contatto con Mark Zuckerberg
Ringrazio anticipatamente per il vostro tempo e la vostra considerazione.643Views0likes0CommentsIn 3 years I have not found single Game Kit for VR with any Enemies, AI or Pickup'able weapons!
DOES it even exist? I have spent to almost $1,000- on 'game kits' but have never gotten a lick of help from any of them in this regard. With none of them have I been able to 'insert' a VR pawn, turn any weapon BP into a VR PICK UP item and FIRE IT and have the NPC bot die,. (I literally just need a GUN I can PICK UP and FIRE at an ENEMY that then DIES. then rest I can reverse engineer like everything in my career! :) Anythin like that on Github or Free? Did the Oculus Bullet train FIZZLE and never even made available to learn from?? THANK YOU!725Views0likes1CommentGesture Recognition AI
I've been working on a gesture recognition AI which trains any gesture (whether from your hand or a controller) in about 30 seconds. It's been tested for VR extensively, and also works with Android (as well as any other motion data). There's a Unity plugin already built. But the main thing I'd really like is to see if anyone wants to use it with the new hand tracking functionality on Quest. This AI will make it really easy to make a controller-free "spellcasting" style game where different gestures cast different spells - or anything else you can think of! Of course it works with non-Quest headsets as well for controller movement. Looking for 3-5 early adopters to get on board and save yourself a lot of time programming gestures! You can see more about it by googling "MiVRy" (can't post links here for some reason) If you'd like to try it out and/or become an early adopter hit us up at support@marui-plugin.com Cheers all, have a good day.1KViews1like2Comments
