Lets talk anti-throw knuckle grips(which is your favorite? do you use them? are they just a gimmick)
I know its been a few months since the quest 2 has been out, but i can't seem find a good knuckle grip. For the quest 1 had a neoprene and nylon based knuckle grip, it was awesome, it didn't get all stretched like these silicone based ones. I went through 2 of these: i am giving below a try today: and now i have the kiwi design on order:
VRCover release via Oculus store?
As I'm sure many did, I ordered the VRCover launch week for Quest2 through the Oculus store. I got the pushback notice at the end of October that it would be delayed and asked them to keep my order. It's now December, there's been no update from Oculus about my order, and when I contact VRCover they tell me it's Oculus' problem and to ask them about it. Any idea when these will be going out?
Quest users left out
I noticed when you go to the Oculus store they only show accessories for Quest 2. Were any of those available for Quest and is there still anything available? What if I needed a replacement head strap or the facial interface? What about controllers? I wish they also offered prescription lenses for Quest so I didn't have to use my glasses with the Quest. Are any of the Quest 2 accessories compatible with Quest?Can we expect an updated Rift-S / Quest accessories guide / CAD files?
Being both a VR and 3d printing enthusiast, I do a bit of custom accessory hacking, and was wondering if there are plans to release new CAD files for the updated Rift-S/Quest touch controls, and if so, when might we expect them? Fun times, primed and ready for a paint job!
Oculus Quest Accessories?
Hello, What decent accessories out there to make quest better? I attached htc vive audio(https://www.amazon.com/HTC-Vive-Deluxe-Audio-Strap-pc/dp/B06Y2GDXMC/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=htc+vive+audio&qid=1565812981&s=gateway&sr=8-2) already and it is much better. Also, I bought a foam cover(https://www.amazon.com/OCULUS-QUEST-COVER-No-Operating-System/dp/B07W96WT6R/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=oculus+quest+lens+cover+foam&qid=1565812593&s=gateway&sr=8-3) for the lens and bags to carry my quest. I am still waiting for the VR PU cover and it's on backorder. Does anyone know where I could find one in stock? Bag and PU cover I have not linked cuz I have received them yet. I'll post a review if you guys like to know!
Lens protectors, headphones, cases?
I recently got an oculus quest, and as most people are with new tech, I’m a bit nervous about keeping it in good condition. What lens protection, headphone, and carry case products would you recommend? Mostly I’m nervous about the lenses but just in case I’m asking about headphones and cases before investing. Also, any other accessories that I should consider essential? Thanks!
So I've noticed Oculus is basically getting rid of the regular Rift
Question is, are the Rift S controllers compatible with the old Rift, and does anyone know where I can find the Two Touch Controllers + Sensor bundle that they used to have up in Accessories? I feel like that has completely disappeared, and kind of sad that they're just completely ditching it.Oculus Rift S Accessories
I am just wondering if anyone that has access to a Rift S knows if the foam/face padding is interchangeable with the regular rift one. So if i were to buy a 3rd party replacement for it (or even a cover for it) would it work. Also if you have any suggestions for any other accessories. Thank you!
