Issues with downloading App Lab app to Quest 3
I’m having issues downloading the Alpha version of my Unity Application to my Meta Quest 3 for testing. The application appears on the Meta Quest app on my phone but does not show up on my headset. There is a “Purchased” button at the bottom on the mobile application but it is greyed-out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.347Views0likes0CommentsBug: Inviting external people to the Release Channels for my Meta Quest 2 App doesn't always work
Hello, I have the issue that when I invite external people to my Meta Quest 2 App through the Alpha, Beta or RC Channel, they can not access the build. They always receive the invite and can accept it, and the app will be shown in their Preview App. However, they can not install it through their App Library, and they can not access the Meta Store page of my app (it is saying "Whooops... Something went wrong". Throwing them out of the User list for the Release Channel and reinviting them usually solves the issue, but it is a blocker and a nuisance to people and some of them may not be able to look at my build, so I really need this fixed. Any ideas / workarounds that don't require resending the invite? Thank you!791Views2likes0CommentsAlpha Channel Apps not showing on tester devices
Have been navigating this issue for quite some time wanted to know if other devs are encountering it as well. - Alpha Channel invites to testers sent, testers never receive email invite - Even if testers receive invites and accept them, preview app fails to show up on their devices - Adding to developer org and then subscribing testers works sometimes, sometimes does not work There seems to be a lot of inconsistency with these services, or am I the only one still facing this. Perhaps I am missing out on something. I even went ahead and ensured dev mode is enabled on every device (in the case that alpha channel builds require dev mode although I doubt they do). Any Insight would be appreciated!2.5KViews1like4CommentsUnable to get the correct "skin" for my remote Meta Avatars. Alpha build in the Quest store.
So I've nearly got the Avatars streaming correctly using Photon Pun, but I get these errors when there's another remote avatar in the scene. It seems like a server connection issue (code: 400) but I'm unsure what could be happening, since I'm successfully connecting to the server in both instances, and the gray, unskinned avatar is still rendered and follows the players. My current theory is it's because I'm running the project in my Unity Editor while also running a build on my headset that I uploaded as an Alpha release to the channel. What I've noted is that the user ids' are different between these two instances, despite being the same app/project. Unfortunately, I don't have another headset to test this. Does building and pushing to the store change the app id received? Or is there something else I'm missing in the Avatar SDK?Solved1.2KViews1like2CommentsAlpha Channel App lab build shows on Quest but install fails?
So my alpha channel build shows up on my quest 2 and is available for download, but every time I try downloading, the download goes up to 100%, waits a bit on installing then goes back to install/download now. I have previously tested alpha channel builds on the device without any issues. Is there perhaps, a limit on the number of applab alpha builds your are able to install on a device at any given time?Solved1.4KViews0likes1CommentUpload to Alpha Channel - Developer Distribution Agreement
