Aaaargh!!! Another Black Screen!
WTF is up with these things? I bought a Quest 3 in December 2024. I'm not a heavy user. The most I do is watch the occasional movie or use Supernatural for fitness about three times a week. I've had to RMA the one I originally bought because of the "Unable to find location" error. They sent me a refurb and, after about two weeks, it went black screen after an update. RMA'd that one and got another. That one was working fine. Until today... I turned it on ready to get some exercise and?... ANOTHER FREAKING BLACK SCREEN!!! Everything was fine two days ago. No weirdness that would signal things about to go wrong. Just dead. Tried factory reset, sideboard update, blah, blah, blah. Still dead! Needless to say, I'm royally pissed off right now. How could Meta sell such a colossal piece of 💩! I dread what's going to happen when my warranty expires. I feel like this was a huge waste of $500. And I'm super disappointed. I really like playing games and watching movies in VR. But it is so not worth dropping another $500. I guess I'm here more to vent than anything. I mean, if someone has a solution, that would be great. I'm just so tired of freaking RMA'ing this garbage device.Solved191Views0likes3Comments
