My 2nd Game: Drive Up Spiral For Cash
Finally released my car/obby game. The game is very simple but required quite a lot of effort to code the vehicle simulation parts until it feels good. Please help checkout the game and let me know what you think. Before this i did a pre-release of the game and had some friends checking it out. But it seemed too difficult so this is the 2nd release of a much more friendlier version: https://horizon.meta.com/world/10164222734875498/?hwsh=mFOVW3SiwD&locale=en_US Here are some screenshots:20Views1like0CommentsUpdates to Your Meta Quest Experience in 2026
Earlier this year, we shared an update on our renewed focus for VR and Horizon. We are separating the two platforms so each can grow with greater focus, and the Horizon Worlds platform will become a mobile-only experience. This separation will extend across our ecosystem, including our mobile app. To support this vision, we are making the following changes to streamline your Quest experience throughout 2026. Meta Horizon Worlds: By March 31, 2026, Horizon Worlds and Events will no longer appear in the Store on Quest. Also, Horizon Central, Events Arena, Kaiju, and Bobber Bay worlds will no longer be available in VR. You can still jump into your other favorite worlds in VR until June 15, 2026, after which the Horizon Worlds app will be removed from Quest, and Worlds will no longer be available in VR. After June 15, you can jump into all your favorite mobile-optimized worlds on the Meta Horizon mobile app. Meta Horizon Hyperscape Capture (Beta): By March 24, 2026, viewing Hyperscape captures is moving out of Horizon Worlds. Your existing captures will remain viewable within the Hyperscape Capture (Beta) app, which is available in your Quest app library. You can continue capturing new Hyperscapes, but sharing, inviting, and co-experiencing Hyperscapes with others will no longer be supported. Meta Horizon Plus (MH+) Perks: By March 31, 2026, Horizon-specific perks — including Meta Credits, Digital Clothing, Avatars and In-World Purchases — will be removed from the subscription. Your core MH+ gaming benefits and monthly games will not be affected. We continue to invest in making your Quest experience better — recent updates have brought new features like Surface Keyboard and Touchpad, customizable app and window positioning, and we're continuing to roll out Navigator, our modernized interface, to more users. Here’s a clear breakdown of what’s happening, when, and why. VR Worlds: End of Support To focus our resources on mobile development, we are ending support for VR worlds in Horizon. What’s changing: On March 24, 2026: The ability to publish Hyperscape captures as a world in Horizon will be removed. Existing captures will be migrated to the standalone Hyperscape Capture app. No action is needed. More details can be found in the Meta Quest and Horizon Community Discord. After June 15, 2026: The ability to publish new or update existing VR worlds will be removed. On this date, all remaining VR worlds and the Horizon Worlds VR app will be removed from the Quest platform. Creator Incentives As we align our programs with our mobile-first strategy, we are also shifting our creator incentives to focus on mobile content. The VR Creator Bonus Program will be winding down, with final payouts for VR worlds occurring in May 2026. The Creator Fund will now be dedicated to supporting the growth of mobile worlds. Read more about the changes to the Creator Fund here. What's Next for Creators Mobile Bonuses: Bonuses continue for mobile worlds. The Creator Fund is now fully focused on supporting mobile content. Engagement-Based Bonus Program: We're expanding the bonus program to reward overall world engagement, not just time spent in-world, recognizing a wider range of contributions. New Tools & Distribution: We're introducing new tools and easier ways to connect your worlds with users across Facebook and Instagram. How to Build for VR Horizon is shifting to mobile, but Meta's investment in VR as a platform is not changing. Quest headset adoption continues to grow, and standalone VR apps on Quest are not affected by any of the changes above. For those who want to continue building for VR, here’s where to start: VR 101: Getting Started with VR: Our team is running a series on the Developer Forum walking through the fundamentals of VR development, including how to start a project in Unity using Meta's SDKs. Third-Party Tools: You can continue building VR apps using Unity, Unreal, or other engines with the Meta SDK. Standalone VR apps on Quest are not affected by this change. Meta Horizon Start: Join Meta's developer program for VR builders. Members get access to hands-on support, a VR developer community, and exclusive resources. How to Build for Mobile The Horizon Developer Center has everything you need to get started on mobile. The mobile world creation guide is a step-by-step walkthrough for building your first mobile worlds, and the Creating Mobile Worlds YouTube playlist features video tutorials from MHCP mentors covering mobile creation best practices. These changes are part of our focus on building Horizon into a platform that can reach a global audience on mobile. We are deeply grateful for the passion and creativity you've poured into your VR worlds, and we are committed to supporting you during this transition. Thank you for being on this journey with us!324Views0likes0CommentsQuest Link Performance Issue

Been working on an obby tower using car. Programmed custom car physics for this but also for my future games The car physics allows drifting, suspension, driving around loops and walls This can really be used for anything from this to kart racing, krash kart, bumper car, tanks, hovercrafts etc. It also kinda supports server simulation to allow player cars to bump onto eachother and react properly. I'm gonna release the obby game soon. Here are some screenshots35Views0likes1CommentHorizon Feed being replaced by Navigator starting in v85
In v85, we’re starting the process to sunset Horizon Feed in VR and shift users to our new UI called Navigator to improve the overall user journey and make exploration in VR more seamless. Navigator lets users quickly access their experiences, friends, and settings, all in one place, for a more streamlined interface. This shift will be starting tomorrow with a small set of test users, and we will be slowly ramping up testing until releasing to all users later this year. What the sunsetting of the VR Horizon Feed means for your worlds: The VR Horizon feed is not a high-intent surface, in that it drives visibility but does not drive as much time spent as other surfaces. With the shift to Navigator, you may see a drop in your top-funnel impressions, but users coming from other worlds discovery surfaces may be more inclined to spend time in a world that matches their preferences. Our past guidance on driving discovery still holds and we recommend reviewing best practices here. Thank you!165Views2likes0CommentsAccount Security and 2FA Reminder
Hi Creators, To help protect your account and the security of confidential MHCP information, please take the following actions immediately: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Your Meta Account Securing your Meta account is just as important as securing your Discord. Here’s how to enable 2FA for your Meta account: Go to Meta Account Center and log in. Click on Password and Security. Select Two-factor authentication. Choose your preferred method (Authentication app, SMS, or Recovery codes) and follow the instructions. If your Meta account is linked to Facebook or Instagram, you may need to enable 2FA on those accounts as well for full protection. For more details, see the official Meta 2FA Help Article or your account’s security settings. Stay Vigilant Against Phishing Phishing is a common tactic used by attackers to steal your login credentials or personal information. Here’s how to protect yourself: Never click on suspicious links in DMs, emails, or Discord messages—even if they appear to come from someone you know or have friended. Double-check sender information before responding to requests for personal info or account details. Be wary of urgent or alarming messages that pressure you to act quickly or provide sensitive information. If in doubt, verify by contacting the sender through a separate, official channel. If you receive a suspicious message or believe your Meta (Horizon) account may have been compromised, report it immediately. Read more about what to do in the event your Meta account has been compromised. Why is this important? A compromised account can put your personal information, your worlds, and sensitive MHCP program details at risk. 2FA adds an extra layer of security, making it much harder for attackers to gain access, even if they have your password. Thank you for helping keep you and our community safe!38Views0likes0CommentsMeta Horizon v250 Release Notes

As the word on the streets has it, Meta is redirecting a lot of resources from VR (including Metaverse) to AR. What does it mean for Horizon Worlds, especially as VR app/platform? It would be pretty devastating making my next world only to find out that the platform is dead/discontinued/shutting down.314Views1like12CommentsCongratulations to the winners of the Meta Horizon Creator Competition focused on "Mobile Innovation”
