VR in iRacing, stutters randomly, vision is extremely distorted, occasional complete black
I am attempting to use my Quest 3 to play iRacing, I have a 3070 and ryzen 7 5800x, my settings on iRacing are turned down to only having the car textures on High everything else is low / off. the resolution on my Oculus app is set at 0.9, the refresh rate at 70hz. The issue is that after maybe 5 minutes into a race, the VR starts looking terrible, it gets all distorted and it looks like certain squares are not where they are supposed to be. Randomly it will begin to stutter and freeze. Additionally, sometimes the whole thing just shows a black screen. I am using the Quest 3 Link cable from Meta its brand new.23KViews6likes58CommentsOculus Link Sync Issue with Quest 3: Video lag behind head movement
I've found a bug with the Oculus Link software using the official link cable and Quest 3. Every time I try to play some relatively demanding PCVR titles or enter some heavy worlds in VRChat, after the computer stutters for a few seconds for loading, the headset tracking and the streamed video feed go completely out of sync. The frame rate in the demanding scene after loading is high and smooth, but the video feed in the headset is a bit delayed relative to my head movement, resulting in an extremely nauseous experience. Even after I quit the demanding game and returned to Oculus Dash, the problem remains, and the video feed is still delayed. This bug can be reproduced consistently. Reconnecting the Oculus link briefly eliminates the problem, but the delay happens again when I try to load scenes. This makes the Oculus link unusable. Any solutions? This seems like a simple question but I can't find any answers. I would like to use virtual desktop on the Quest 2 via the link cable (NOT WIFI) just to troubleshoot connections and utilize the neat environment features of the app. Is this possible? I play FPS's that are 2D on my quest and using the oculus desktop "button" doesn't provide the nice features of screen sizing and everything else that virtual desktop does (and the games spontaneously crash). Is there another alternative other than VD or the oculus desktop? How do I get it not to crash? Thanks, BobSolved89KViews0likes34CommentsIs there a way to revert meta quest link pc software?

I purchased After the fall in the quest headset and wanted to airlink to my PC for better graphics. I cannot download the program to my PC via the desktop app. Other games are not having this issue it appears to be only "After the Fall". I have opened a ticket (7786734) and there was no solution i was simply told that my RTX4090 was too powerful. Which should in no way keep the oculus app from functioning properly and the fact that other games work this way clearly shows this to be incorrect. I would appreciate any help to resolve this. Also i have already tried the download and repair effort described on another thread. This did not solve the issue.931Views0likes5CommentsVR Chat Error "Oculus platform error during user proof check timeout during fetching DSAT"
VRChat for some reason keeps giving me that error and it won't load after that. I can't even press the "Okay" button. Is this an issue that many people are experiencing, or is it just me? The error then proceeds by saying that I need to use a PC and a cable to play VRChat with quest link. I've done that and I can play it, but the point is that I want to play VRChat without my PC so I can play anywhere, and this error keeps blocking me from doing that. Is there a fix to this issue? if so how? (I've tried reinstalling, using my phone hotspot, restarting the device)Solved60KViews4likes63CommentsMeta Quest Link Infinite Loading
Worked fine since buying Quest 3 a month ago, was working yesterday, today it wont work, tried reinstalling the app, nothing, tried beta branch, nothing. my AMD graphics driver is up to date, it was literally working yesterday with no changes whatsoeverSolved5.4KViews0likes7CommentsAir link randomly stopped working
As said, air link randomly stopped working. It started by having the button unavailable one day. I restarted my quest and pc, same thing. I unpaired and tried pairing again, when I hit pair I don't get a code. It detects it fine, paired to my phone fine, but refuses to work with air link to give a code. I tried turning off my firewall, factory reset, deleting the pc oculus app, and several other things, but nothing works. Edit: For anyone unable to get a pairing code like this or to connect (not detect, still detects pc) this solves it. Its hard to find this solution onlineSolved45KViews6likes57CommentsCan't delete Quest software files on PC
