Subject: Request for Guidance - Innovation Proposal and Strategic Partnership Request
Dear Meta Community/Support Team, My name is AS33, I am a Strategic Designer and Independent Developer. I am currently researching innovation modules that may be relevant to several Meta teams, including but not limited to Meta Horizon, Generative AI, LLaMA, and Experimental Interface Research. I am seeking guidance on the following: 1. What department, contact, or channel is best for submitting innovation proposals or partnership ideas? 2. Is there a dedicated team within Meta (e.g. Horizon Labs, Research, R&D, Co-Design, etc.) that reviews early-stage concept proposals from external independent authors? 3. Are there any internal innovation or consulting programs (e.g. Co-design Program, Meta Open Research, Meta Quest Creators Hub) that are currently accepting new participants or promising collaborations? I am particularly interested in hybrid models where I can contribute not as a permanent team member, but as an external signal architect, designer, or creative collaborator. My goal is to explore mutually beneficial options that could include: - Strategic consulting on symbolic systems, neuro-alignment, or immersive signal architectures - Early testing collaboration with the Meta Horizon or Generative AI teams If you can forward this to the appropriate team or share the appropriate contact paths or application portals, I would greatly appreciate your help. In the developper dashboard, Analytics pages are definitly empty for weeks... Except of "Marketing Attribution" and "User Engagement" that gives an approximation of the sales with "Conversion". We have more than the first step of 100 sales for sure. Is this normal? There is always : "Disable Ads block Oculus Analytics might not work when your web browser is using an ad blocker. Turn off ad blocker and refresh your browser to view your analytics data." But I try with a lot of browsers and always this error...2.7KViews0likes3CommentsWhen trying to upload a game to Applab i get an error

Hi, Recently IAP.GetProductsBySKU started failing in Unity app with Code: 20001, HTTPCode: 500, Message: {"error":{"X-FB-Debug":"Qdys/WoLVIZztE3uCQ2y79x2u6OpDuLsmjqeA/hIMC8kYvC1iArjkvnhLYRRhycciBo3z8qpVvWomk1AM4F9hQ==","code":1,"message":"An unknown error occurred","x-fb-trace-id":"ANo00ooG9pl"}} This used to work, I didn't change anything: * Other endpoints return data correctly and succeed (Users.GetLoggedInUser, IAP.GetViewerPurchases, Entitlements.IsUserEntitledToApplication). * The app initialized successfully with the app id. * Data use checkup is all green (Attached pictures) I don't know what else to try, all other endpoints except591Views0likes1CommentCollecting payment outside App Lab
I thought I read that Oculus won't allow us to collect income/payments for app lap apps outside of the Oculus platform without some kind of agreement with them. But I can't seem to find that, and I just now ran across this post that says we can sell keys without giving any revenue to Oculus: https://developer.oculus.com/blog/oculus-distribution-channel-guide/ We're building education apps and want to be able to sell "bulk" licenses to schools, for example, in addition to sales to individuals on app lab. Can somebody point me to the right answer/resources/docs on this issue? Thanks in advance!SolvedCan not pass VRC.Quest.Functional.6 (App must only include Quest HMDs and controllers...)

Hi, I have an existing android application written in kotlin which I wish to upload to the quest store. I have built and run the application on a headset locally and it all works perfectly. Upon uploading to the store i get the error "* Oculus SDK not found or older than 1.0." The app does not include the Oculus SDK or similar as it is not needed. It does not take advantage of any headset specific features and is just your standard 2d app. Is bundling the sdk in required to upload to the store? If so is there documentation on how to do so with an existing kotlin app as all the documentation is largely around apps containing native code and doesn't provide clear guidance on this use case. I've considered grabbing the OpenXR samples and smashing that together with the existing app. Is this a reasonable approach? It seems over the top especially for an app that won't require the SDK (for now). Thanks, Nathan927Views1like2CommentsApplab game not searchable yet
I am the developer of Control Tower VR. I am very excited with the app labs games being searchable on the main store, but so far Control Tower VR is not browsable (go to app lab tab, filter by genre arcade) and not searchable unless I enter the full name of the app. Also, I am not allowed to add keywords to my game. i suppose that Control Tower VR hasn’t been ported over to the open part of applab, but I was wondering what other app lab developers are seeing. Are you able to add keywords, is your app labs game searchable ?2.1KViews0likes9CommentsTest User IAP Checkout Flow Stopped Working
We've run into an issue when testing our IAP purchase flow. Up until this week, when we'd click on an In-App purchase (durable level addon), it would open the Meta App Lap Purchase window, where it would give a price and ask to purchase or cancel, then ask for PIN. This was great for testing functionality. Now, when we click on the IAP purchase, the Purchase flow just automatically succeeds and the level gets purchased without prompting with the Purchase Flow window (no confirm purchase, no pin). This happens even after removing the Test Users IAP entitlements. If we turn off the "Inherit organizations entitlements", then the purchase flow just fails with the test user - doesn't even pop up the window. Has anyone else noticed a change in the IAP Checkout flow functionality starting this week? It would be nice to test the checkout flow with our test users before releasing our updates.Solved17KViews0likes15Comments
