Issue with VRC.Quest.Input.8
I am currently attempting to submit my app to the Meta Store AppLab. I need some advice on the following issue: In VRC.Quest.Input1, it is suggested that in-app menus should be activated with the menu button. I have implemented my menu in the way that when you do the pinch gesture with your left palm (hand tracking), the in-app menu appears. However, the app was rejected because in VRC.Quest.Input.8 it says that for apps that support hand tracking, the system gestures are reserved and should not be used. May I have misunderstood something. Could you please advise me on how to open my hand menu when I am not supposed to use the system gesture?498Views0likes0CommentsError when uploading my build to App Lab
I have been receiving the following error when uploading my build to Production in the Developer Hub: • APK install location should be `auto` (android:installLocation in AndroidManifest.xml). See documentation at: https://developer.oculus.com/distribute/publish-mobile-manifest/ I have verified that my Android manifest includes "android:installLocation="auto," and my APK Install location in Unity Project Settings is also set to auto. This is a problem I have been struggling with for a while now. Please help me.528Views0likes0CommentsApp Key and Manifest
My original project ran into some version errors which required me to make a new project and I am trying to use the same App Key and Manifest from that project. My app is already approved by Meta App Lab and I do not want to have to change App Keys and go through the approval process again. Is there a way to use the same App Key for a different project build?415Views0likes0CommentsApp using AppLab package name cannot start
We started the submission process for AppLab with a very specific package name. When we try to build and run the app that uses that package name, the app doesn't start and when it's launched it just stops and you get back to the main oculus menu. Whatever other package name works fine, that is the only difference between working builds and not working ones. Has this issue ever occurred to anyone else? This specific thing, is really blocking for the review progress, of course.702Views0likes0Comments
