Status staying as under review
My game that I made for applab has been submitted for around 5 weeks until it went under review just recently. Usually once it goes under review, the meta developer team only takes a few hours to review the game and give you a answer, but my game has been in the status under review for almost 4 days. I haven't got any emails about it and I don't know if it takes longer to review it now. I know the wait time is 5-6 weeks, but when it's under review, I don't think it should take longer than 4 days. No way they are reviewing my game for that long. If the time changed, let me know or maybe this can be a glitch and maybe they forgot about my game lol.1.7KViews0likes1CommentAdding images to Long Description in Applab/Meta listing?
Howdy! I'm trying to figure out how to add images to the Long Description of an Applab/Meta Store listing. I've tried to just embed an image using HTML, but that didn't work. I also tried to look for an area where I can add UPDATES with a nice image and description, but maybe that's not available when you're not on the official Meta Store yet?752Views0likes0CommentsSubscribed users to all App Lab Alpha channel release cannot fetch any subscribed apps anymore!
For about the past 5 days, our users from all organizations have not been receiving any updates on their subscribed applications, despite everything working smoothly before. Do you happen to have any insight as to what changes may have occurred on App Lab?Solved2.8KViews0likes2CommentsUnable to edit approved metadata to resolve review issues - Supported Controller / Player Modes
We received a response on our 10th Feb re-submission (v3) - there was an issue in the metadata selected I missed checking a couple of fields and we continued with the last selected settings 2 fields need changes: Supported Controllers: remove Hand Tracking Supported Player Modes: Remove Sitting and Standing, and select RoomscaleI tried to change these but am receiving this message - that is preventing me from saving the changes and resubmitting This metadata has been approved and cannot be modified. Go to the Submission Tab to create new metadata. There is no button to add new metadata on the Submission Tab. Not sure if this is a gap in the submission process or am I missing something? Q1. How do we edit our app metadata once it has been approved? We tried to change the build to an older one (1.04) to see if that would allow us to change the metadata. However, now we are unable to return to review the latest build submitted 1.05. We receive a message saying only draft builds can be attached to a submission. Q2. How can we return to the review of 1.05?2.7KViews0likes3CommentsIs the app lab review team going against the VRChekcs criteria?
Hi, I've created a game and in the ending scene, the player has to do something in order to make the game quit. This is perceived as "closing the application unexpectedly/automatically" by the review team. I've submitted my app several times and the review team always uncheck the "VRC.Quest.Functional.1" *. Their comment is "... Applications that close unexpectedly/automatically cannot be approved." but the criteria in VRC.Quest.Functional.1 never mentions that apps cannot be closed automatically. I've contacted Meta support but they couldn't help since this is an issue related to app lab. and there seams to be NO support for devs in this filed. I resubmitted my game and added this as part of the note: " ... I understand the this might be against the VRC.Quest.Functional.1 from your perspective but the Criteria should be written in a way that everyone should have a common understanding of it. I've spend so much on this simple game and I've read the Criteria. If the Review Team can change the meaning of the Criterias of the VRChecks, Then how should I as a developer trust these Criterias before writing my GDD? If the Criteria for VRC.Quest.Functional.1 has changed and includes what you mentioned in your comment, then please update the page, this can lead to many misunderstandings. ..." They responded with this same as last one( I dont think they paid attention to my note): "The application closes at the end of the experience. Applications that close unexpectedly/automatically cannot be approved." What should I do?? if the change the ending the entire meaning of the game changes and the I couldn't find ANY support for app lab or devs. * https://developer.oculus.com/resources/vrc-quest-functional-1/1.3KViews0likes0CommentsCustomers cannot "GET" our app (App Lab)
From what I can understand, a Quest App is available by the app id link before being reviewed. This allows users to install the app from a direct URL rather than the AppStore. Our app is viewable on PC by the App Id link, and everything looks fine, except there is no GET button. Also, when the same URL is viewed on the Quest, a 404 error is displayed. Is the App Lab broken, or am I missing a setting somewhere? Now that the App is in a review state, there are no settings available to us for change. Strangely, the URL is viewable on PC but not the Quest. We want our app to be available to our users, precisely many schools anxiously waiting to use our app. Our previous app worked with Google Cardboard, and now the schools are migrating to the Quest. We are unable to give them our app because of this issue. We need to have our app used by students before the school year is complete. By not having this app available to students, this delay is robbing children of an educational experience that could shape their future with a career in technology.6.4KViews0likes11CommentsAdd some Keywords to my app (AppLab)

Hi, I have 2 questions. Please help us if you know the answer. My first question is How we can publish our app (Quest 2) on the official Oculus store? and my second question is how we can move our recent app that was approved through AppLab to the official Oculus store? Thanks.1.3KViews0likes0CommentsDo I need to re-submit to upload a video?
Hi all Probably a stupid question, but I was hoping I could just add a video of my game, hit save, and the page would be updated, but it seems not to be the case. My game is already published on AppLab, with screenshots (ofc), but I never got round to adding a video. Do I need to press "Submit" again? If so, how long might that take to update and will my game still be available whilst it's being reviewed? I was only going to put up a very basic vid that I made in 20 minutes this morning, so if it's going to take some time, I'll wait and make a decent one! Cheers! Ric
