Meta glasses audio recording not working
Hello, I have a pair of meta glasses that I have been using for a couple of months now. I recently recorded a video of me at an ATM and during the video my glasses seem to have a muffled static during the video (I was going to attach the 25 second video but I cannot). Unfortunately, the beginning of this video is the last time I’ve had adequate and working audio recording. I would love any assistance here if possible, thank you. Note that I have already used the hold capture button feature to clear any moisture and also factory reset the glasses.40Views0likes0CommentsAI severely delayed in responding
Hello, I'm new here. I have the Meta Gen 2 Skylar glasses, purchased October 2025. Starting this morning, the AI interface is not responding to questions. If I say "Hey Meta, what's the weather?" the wake sound plays, and the light blinks, but I don't hear anything. If I go back and say "Hey Meta, I can't hear you," it repeats the answer to my question, clear as day. If I don't say that, it never responds and I don't hear anything. Regular audio, like from music or social media plays normally. I have tried hard restart, unpair/repair, uninstall/reinstall the Meta app, recycling the Bluetooth connection, and factory resetting the glasses. None of these have worked. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've also tried looking up warranty information but it is like a needle in a haystack trying to get started on a claim.91Views0likes3CommentsAudio Distortion
I have my RAY-BAN META WAYFARER - GEN 2 connected to my Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. They are less than 3 weeks old I am having an issue where the audio, whether playing music, announcing messages, using Meta AI or receiving notifications, sounds very distorted, even at low volume. If I have the volume low enough to avoid distortion, even in a quiet room, it's unusable. I have tried force-restarting and factory-resetting the glasses, but there has been no change. The glasses received the latest update - 124.0.0.0.049Views0likes0CommentsBug: Ray-Ban Meta doesn't record voice note with WhatsApp open | Calls work fine
Major bug in the Ray-Ban Meta + WhatsApp integration in Brazil. What works: WhatsApp voice/video calls using the glasses - 100% ok "Hey Meta, send a voice message to on WhatsApp" with the app closed - 100% ok[contact] What DOESN'T work: With the WhatsApp app open in the foreground, when I hold the button to record audio, the glasses beep, it shows as if it's recording, but the audio comes out muted. Zero sound in the message. How to reproduce: Pair Ray-Ban Meta with Android phone Open a WhatsApp chat Hold the audio record button Result: beep plays, records silence, it's not working as it was supposed to. Impact: Makes it impossible to use the glasses as true "hands-free". If I need to send a voice note, I have to close WhatsApp and use a voice command, or grab my phone. Meanwhile calls work perfectly in the same scenario. Device: Ray-Ban Meta 2nd gen | Android [your version] | WhatsApp v | Meta AI app v | Glasses firmware v[version] Since both products are from Meta, this basic integration should work. Please prioritize the fix.19Views0likes0CommentsMeta Quest 3 not capturing in game audio
When I'm recording a video it captures my voice but no in game audio. I've been trying to fix this for hours now. I've tried everything from completely rebooting the vr to checking all the settings making sure there correct and also checking for any updates. I really dont understand why its not working.1.3KViews3likes11CommentsMeta Quest 3 not recording any in-game audio
I've been having the same issue for the past 2-3 weeks. My mic audio gets recorded, and not my game audio at all. Today when I tried to record again, I only heard the record sound indicator in the replay, but no game audio. I tried the same troubleshooting steps, along with a factory reset, but it doesn't work. I contacted Meta about this and they were only able to tell me to factory reset the headset, and no further fixes from them (such as making a headset software update.) It's getting incredibly annoying, plus the fact that I'm a part time VR content creator makes this even worse to deal with. Doesn't record with any app either, especially with virtual desktop, which I use on a daily basis.277Views2likes5CommentsNo Input Audio for PC Link App
I have tried everything, hours worth of work. For some reason, I can hear everyone around me, game audio, you name it. But when I cast my headset to the Meta Horizon Link App, i cannot hear myself. I have repaired the app, uninstalled the app, messed with a million settings. It seems the OVAD isnt registering at all. I know my Quest 3s mic works, it just seems that it is muted (its not) Does anyone have something to fix this? I really dont wanna have to buy a external mic just to stream games. This is honestly such an outrage.50Views0likes1CommentQuest 3 has no audio when connected to PC
I recently get the Quest 3, and for some reason I can't get the audio to come through my headset when it is connected to my PC using a link cable or AirLink. It shows as a device in the sounds settings and it is enabled in the audio Control Panel Playback section. I never had this problem on my Quest 2. I have updated the drivers, tried disabling the Nvidia High Definition Audio driver. Any help greatly appreciated! Note: This green audio bar next to the Oculus audio device stays at half-full whether the computer is playing or not. Not sure if that helpsSolved51KViews3likes48CommentsQuest 3 blowing air and won’t turn on
I just purchased a meta quest 3 about 2 weeks ago and the screen would turn black when I had it on. I wouldn’t even be able to type in my passcode by the time it turned black. I did what was said to hold the power and volume buttons for 10 seconds and once I did that it turned off and started blowing air from the front side of the headset. I’ve put it on a charger, held all 3 buttons for 30 seconds+ and still nothing. It’s been 10 minutes and it’s still just blowing out air.Solved21KViews0likes25CommentsAllow option for internal speakers to work with headphones connected / 3.5mm / BT
Hello, Quest 3 feedback suggestion: Allow option for internal speakers to work with 3.5mm or bluetooth headphones connected. Reason: For devices such as the Woojer haptic feedback vests, straps or subwoofers, you cannot use the built in speakers due to connecting these either via the 3.5mm jack or bluetooth. Adding this as an option would not hurt anything, heck you could even add a pop-up to note that this setting has been changed and where to find it each time something is connected. Advantage: There would then be no need to use additional headphones when wearing a haptic vest, haptic strap or when using a subwoofer. Headphones can be cumbersome or not even possible to use with most VR headstraps. Many thanks for listening.324Views4likes5Comments
