Meta Quest 3 not capturing in game audio
When I'm recording a video it captures my voice but no in game audio. I've been trying to fix this for hours now. I've tried everything from completely rebooting the vr to checking all the settings making sure there correct and also checking for any updates. I really dont understand why its not working.1.5KViews3likes11CommentsMeta Quest 3 not recording any in-game audio
I've been having the same issue for the past 2-3 weeks. My mic audio gets recorded, and not my game audio at all. Today when I tried to record again, I only heard the record sound indicator in the replay, but no game audio. I tried the same troubleshooting steps, along with a factory reset, but it doesn't work. I contacted Meta about this and they were only able to tell me to factory reset the headset, and no further fixes from them (such as making a headset software update.) It's getting incredibly annoying, plus the fact that I'm a part time VR content creator makes this even worse to deal with. Doesn't record with any app either, especially with virtual desktop, which I use on a daily basis.314Views2likes5CommentsQuest 3 blowing air and won’t turn on
I just purchased a meta quest 3 about 2 weeks ago and the screen would turn black when I had it on. I wouldn’t even be able to type in my passcode by the time it turned black. I did what was said to hold the power and volume buttons for 10 seconds and once I did that it turned off and started blowing air from the front side of the headset. I’ve put it on a charger, held all 3 buttons for 30 seconds+ and still nothing. It’s been 10 minutes and it’s still just blowing out air.Solved21KViews0likes25CommentsQuest 3 speakers "crackle" on startup
When I power on my Meta Quest 3, the built-in speakers make a brief crackling/popping noise during boot. It only happens at startup; audio is completely normal afterward. Is this a known firmware/initialization issue, or could it indicate a hardware problem?69Views0likes1CommentOculus 2 Game Audio Isn't Working
I've had my Oculus 2 for quite some time now, but recently I haven't been able to use it to play any games. When in the main hub the audio works fine coming out of the device, but the moment I open steam and try playing any of my games like I would before such as Beat Saber and BOXVR the audio stops working. If I look on my pc I am able to see that it says "Steam Link Audio is disabled one or more steam streaming audio endpoints are disabled" I have gone through all of my computer's settings to make sure everything is enabled and that I have the computer set to the correct audio output when playing, steams settings, meta quest phone and computer app, and the oculus's settings themselves and nothing works. I have even factory reset my Oculus to see if that would fix it, but no. I've also tried connecting wirelessly and wired to the PC How can I fix this??315Views0likes11CommentsMeta quest 3s has no audio when entering link
My oculus quest 3s has worked without problems for over 3 months, but i got back from work and suddenly i have no audio in link trough cable its showing in the device manager and the sound manager but the green meter that shows the volume its stuck on the middle things i have tried * Restarting my PC and headset * Factory resetting my headset * Uninstalling and installing the meta quest app on pc * Killing the OVRservices on task manager * Changing the sound output to oculus headset for some reason when i turn on the spatial sound the audio of the headset (as in the games, the sound of when you interact with something inside and the hum of the white void) reproduces in my pc speakers but nothing on the speakers of the headset please if anyone has a clue or any idea i will appreciate it158Views0likes2CommentsAdvanced Audio Settings Dropdown in Quick Menu not showing
Hi, there used to be a “…” button next to the volume slider in the quick menu, where you could control the volume of each application individually. But sadly it’s been gone for a while. Is there a way to get it back or access these settings in a different way? I am using the Quest 3 and checked these versions: v79, v81 and now v83 too Thanks! Hello, Unfortunately, the left earphone on my Oculus Rift has just started cutting out. Apparently, it's a very common problem, enough so that the original developer has provided repair kits to fix the issue. However, before I go down that route, I want to make sure it isn't something simpler. Because it's an old device, I'm having trouble finding where to go to get support for it. It's not even listed in devices. Can someone please help me or point me in the right direction? Thank you!166Views1like3CommentsAudio Not Working on Calls
After the last update with Doby Atmos, my Meta Quest 2 audio and microphone are not working. When I call someone, I can hear them for a moment, but then the connection cuts out. They can't hear me, and I can't hear them. Is anyone else having this issue, or know how to solve it?101Views1like3CommentsBluetooth Audio (Headsets) (Earbuds)
For me I don't know why or how but when I try use Bluetooth to connect to my devices because my family finds it annoying to keep hearing my games it always has so much delay like I could let's say fire a gun in a game and I would hear the gun like 2 seconds later I've had a quest 2 with the same problem and my quest 3s which still has the problem :(22Views1like0Comments
