Why did oculus stopped supporting Bigscreen on Gear VR !?
I just came out of a long discussion with the Bigscreen support team about why I can't find big screen in Gear VR store or anywhere to install it on Gear VR anymore. they referred this to that they were enforced to stop supporting it on Gear VR because Oculus enforced them by stopping supporting Gear VR. and they will do the same with Oculus Go. It's really not good to stop supporting the device while a lot of people still using it, It's 2017 and its age is just 3 years and lives with galaxy until S10 which is still used and being sold everywhere. I really don't trust even keeping my Oculus Quest because mostly you are going to do the same with it soon and it will not support the things which I bought it for.
Some apps cause the headset to crash (Rift S).
Some apps like bigscreen and pokerstars vr cause the headset to crash. This is repeatable, so most likely a software issue i'm guessing. In bigscreen whenever I interact with another person like fist bumping the headset will go black and to reset it the usb needs to be unplugged and plugged back in. In pokerstars vr it's a bit harder to repeat, but it seems tied to going all in. When a player goes all in an effect plays and that's when it crashes. Same again unplug the usb and plug it back it resets the headset. Also happens occasionally in pavlov VR but have not found a way for it to be repeatable yet in that. Just an FYI i haven't had issues as of 1.38
Hi I can't figure out how to play movies on bigscreen and i've looked all over the place for 2 days
Does anyone have a link or instructions on how to get the oculus store and make bigscreen into a vitural reality screen for bigscreen beta... I' m so lost thanks so much to anyone that helps me...all the tutorails I find are made for the GO or the Rift.. I need for the gear vr... thanks Patrick.
