Gen AI Tools gone on desktop editor
I'm currently facing an issue on Meta's desktop editor. I am unable to access the Gen AI tools and am unsure if they have been moved to a different location. I used to have the option on the upper right of my screen but can't seem to find it now I am currently in the US though I traveled abroad a few months ago, not sure if that has something to do with it. I'm gonna need it for the creator competition since it said use at least one Gen AI feature in our world. Is anyone else facing the same issue or knows how to resolve this?145Views0likes4CommentsOne week to go!

i want to propose a hybrid tracking system using sensor fusion instead of wifi working alone it would complement the quest cameras the cameras track the upper body while the wifi csi data fills the blind spots for the lower body and legs this solves the messy data problem because the system already has the headset and controllers as a base meta could add a toggle for full body tracking or upper body only to save battery it would be an optional feature powered by a low level system driver what do you think about this integration with the current movement sdk24Views0likes0CommentsPublishing error: You are attempting to publish a world with pre-release features.
Hi, I have a World and I want to participate in the Creator Competition: Elevate Your Mobile World. When I try to use new features—such as importing an FBX file or inserting assets with the new format—there is no problem in previewing the World. However, since my World was originally created in 2022, I receive the following error message when attempting to publish: "You are attempting to publish a world with pre-release features." It seems that new features are recognized as pre-release features in worlds with older original metadata or internal structure. Even if I delete all entities and scripts in the World except for the imported FBX or inserted asset, I still receive the same error when I try to publish it. On the other hand, if I create a brand-new World and import the same FBX file or insert the same asset, publishing works fine. Additionally, in my older World, I can't assign custom textures to shapes, and the Build > Shapes menu lacks newer items like Cube Beveled or 10 x 10 Plane. Since the competition requires updating a previously published World, what would you suggest? Can I recreate and update my World from scratch to avoid the publishing error? If I do that, the new World would not meet the requirement of being originally published before June 30, 2025. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!Solved650Views2likes15CommentsCollab request for upcoming creator competition
Hey! I’m looking to team up with a strong Horizon Worlds coder in the community. I’m a game designer with ~10 years in games (VR focused), ex-Meta (3+ years, QA Lead, including time on the desktop editor), and the past 12 months full-time building in Horizon as a creator. I got MHCP partner status back in Dec 2025. What I bring: Game design (micro, mid and macro loop theory tested and implemented) Discovery + growth (300,000+ impressions on a single world) Thumbnail + iteration systems (I know how to get clicks and test properly) Game concepts, lore, and player experience Playtesting, feedback loops, and weekly event systems Art direction Overall production Where I’m weaker: My code quality is mid, I can get things working, but not clean, scalable, or robust. Who I’m looking for: Strong Horizon Worlds coder / engineer Can build clean, reliable, non-buggy systems Fast at prototyping Serious about competing Experimental mindset. Open to fast iterations to ‘see what works’. Wants a long-term collab, not a one-off (If trial project goes well) Goal: Pair up as a designer + engineer duo to win an upcoming Meta Horizon competition. Intention is to do a mini trial project first to test fit. If you’re strong technically but know your design / discovery isn’t there, then we’ll complement each other well. My latest work for an idea of my style: https://horizon.meta.com/world/10241323577005469 Was also featured in last months Mentor playtest here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxU-vI1ug2U If interested, comment here and we can move to DMs. Cheers!207Views1like4Comments
