Error when submitting a user review
We've received reports from a few users who are encountering an error when trying to leave reviews on the Meta Store for Tribe XR. The error message they see is "We're having trouble completing your request. Please try again later." Interestingly, some of these users have been able to successfully leave reviews for other apps. Is this a known issue? Do you have any insights on what might be causing this problem? Any suggestions on how we could help these users resolve the issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ozan!557Views0likes0CommentsDash Encountered a Fatal Error
I've been doing VR development for a number of months now. Tonight when I went to launch Quest Link, I got the following error message: Fatal Error Dash encountered a fatal error. Please reload dash to continue. Press any button to reload Dash. I have a Meta Quest 2 headset, HP Virtus Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, NVIDI GeForce GTX 1650 4 GB I've rebooted the headset, disconnected the headset and then rebooted the PC. I've also looked at the logs via the Meta Quest Developer Hub app, but I don't know what I should be looking for. Anyone out there have any suggestions to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance, Brian Severa899Views0likes0CommentsEMERGENCY our game is down!
We have time left before a data policy use checkup needed to be updated. We filled out the change and submitted it, well it instantly FAILED is and the submission due date now says DECEMBER 1970!. Our users CANNOT properly login right now because of this. Is there any way to get emergency help from Oculus? Obviously they had a glitch in their system since the revoke action date suddenly changed to 1970! This is incredibly frustrating. is there anything that can be done??651Views1like1CommentPotential Fixes and Workarounds for "Liquid or Debris in charging port" warning
Hi everyone, After struggling with the issue of the "liquid or debris found" error message when using the link cable for development and pushing builds, I thought I'd share a couple of workarounds that seem to work some of the time until Meta issues a fix for this. 1) Try a different port on your computer, maybe a different type of port. I had the error pop up nearly 100% of the time I plugged in my cable when I was using a USB type C 3.2 port on my computer. When I switched to using a USB 3.2 type A port with an adapter, I am experiencing the issue much less. I am yet to use this for an extended period of time but I'll provide an update on how frequently the error pops up later. 2) Use ADB over Wifi. If you can get your headset connected at least once, it may be worth the time to get the Meta Quest Developer Hub and try using ADB over Wifi. I believe you have to connect the headset over cable once before you can use this feature but it may save you some time down the line. Of course, this won't work with features like Unreal's VR Preview but you will still be able to package projects and push the APK over wifi as long as you are fine with waiting for the time it takes to package every time.895Views5likes1CommentWebXR problem: Oculus Quest 2, device detects VR project as AR project
I am using WebXR to develop a VR experience that allows the user to walk into a room and interact with it. However, the glasses detect the application as if it were augmented reality and therefore, The Oculus Quest 2 changes to AR mode in the process, making the application unusable. The project is being developed in Unity 2021.3.2 and using the Simple-WebXR package for Web deployment, along with the Mixed Reality Toolkit (MRTK). It has to be an Oculus Quest 2 problem, because it also affects similar projects I developed with WebXR, older projects worked correctly, and they break too. I experimented this problem in all of them. I will show you images of how the application it should look like in VR and another one that shows the AR mode error. My Oculus Quest 2 Version is: 47421700667400000 Is there a mode switch for VR/AR that I'm missing? Is it related to the most recent update or the version of the oculus quest 2 that I have? I need urgent help with this. How it should look like on VR AR mode detected (Error)1.6KViews0likes1CommentDeveloper Hub - Build Upload Failed - PROCESSING ERROR, API ERROR, ECONNRESET
I am trying to upload a new build of my game through the Meta Quest Developer Hub. I am uploading it to a private release channel for alpha testing. I am getting a number of errors after multiple attempts with a different error each time. I get upload failed errors sometimes showing Processing Error please try again later, API error, or ECONNRESET Network error. I've tried looking at the log files but Im not experienced enough to know what to do. It is strange because I havent had these issues before, I've uploaded multiple builds with the most recent being a little over a week ago. I am using unity 2021, the most recent version of MQDH, and am attempting to upload an apk and single OBB file (2.2 GB). I have tried copying the adb files associated with my unity project and pasting them into the "Meta Quest Developer\resources\bin" file path. I've also tried changing the MQDH ADB file path to match the unity version in the file path "C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2021.3.15f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\SDK\platform-tools" Nothing seems to work and its more strange that different errors pop up instead of a single consistent error. I've made sure my manifest file is correct and am increasing the version and bundle code with each build, and done other things like make sure MQDH is able to pass through my firewall, tried making a fresh release channel. I also sometimes receive this error when attempting to open MQDH and I have to uninstall it and reinstall just to get it to reopen. Am i doing something completely wrong? Here are two of the errors, with the other one saying PROCESSING_ERROR please try again later. I can send log files if needed. Thank you for any help in advance!8.3KViews2likes12CommentsCant access Developer mode.

I am having a problem uploading the latest build for my game to the Alpha channel. I've found several similar posts, but in each of those there's at least some sort of error information. Here's what I get... Not a lot to go on there. In case it's something to do with the version numbering, I am attempting to update from build version "0.3asw.153" to "0.3b.160" --I tried rebuilding as version "0.4.160" but that fails exactly the same way. I'm reduced to shots in the dark with no error information at all. I'd be grateful for any suggestions how to resolve this issue.782Views0likes0CommentsData Protection Assessment page in our dev hub says url wont load?
We are trying to fill out the data protection assessment screen before the March 25ht deadline and it simply says URL won't load when trying to go to the URL in the dashboard. I guess we will keep checking it to see if it's just something temporarily down on metas end, but this is a pretty big deal!941Views0likes0Comments
