Meta Quest app - stuck on the "Pair a new device" screen
I'm stuck on the "Pair your headset with the Meta Quest app to continue." step during the Meta Quest 3 setup. The smartphone app tells me to "Allow permissions", which I have already done. I have "Use precise location" enabled as well. Pressing the blue "Continue" button does nothing. The Meta Quest 3 button is greyed out. I have a code displayed in the headset that I'm supposed to input somewhere in this app. What do I do? My Meta Quest app is up to date. I have already installed all system updates on my smartphone. My smartphone and Meta Quest 3 are on the same WiFi network. See screenshots:Solved20KViews1like9Commentsgraphics card compatible?
meta horizon link is saying my graphics card is incompatible when it should be compatible. i am using an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT which came out after the minimum requirement for graphics card, which means it should be compatible. i suspect it may be because its too new but its displayed before that it is able to recognize it and expresses that it may be not powerful enough for a enjoyable vr experience, however whenever i try to connect it says it cant because the graphics card is incompatible. specs: meta quest 3s (vr headset), amd radeon RX 6500 xt (graphics card), 16 gb of ram (not graphics card), and using air link with a pc that uses ethernet.Solved73Views0likes9CommentsQuest 3 stuck on same five-digit pairing code
My Quest 3 is stuck showing the same 5-digit pairing code and cannot complete setup. I’ve tried factory reset, browser pairing, Meta Horizon app, and all available support channels. I do not have access to the Meta Quest app, and the headset cannot reach the Support menu. The pairing code never changes and is not accepted on meta.com/device. I believe the device may be locked in enterprise mode and needs a firmware restore or replacement. Meta’s Help Center no longer provides access to device support forms. I need help from Meta staff to resolve this. As it stands now, I am currently in possession of a $500 paper weight635Views0likes44CommentsQuest 2 wont connect to Iphone 15.
Hi, I just factory reset my Quest 2, and when I verify that both devices are on the same wifi and I enter the 5-digit code, it just loads, and I think it times out and gives me an error that says couldn't pair with your headset on the app. I've tried reinstalling the app, rebooting both devices, factory resetting the Oculus again, and it still doesn't work. Can anybody help me?28Views0likes1CommentQuest 2 headset suddenly does not appear in file explorer
earlier this week (October 18, 2025), my quest 2 headset has stopped appearing in file explorer and I cannot access it to get my photos, videos, or add mods to games. All other guides for fixing this issue are at least 3 years old and do not work as of 2025.259Views0likes3CommentsMeta Quest Pairing Issue
Anybody else having this issue where the headset shows as paired in the Meta Horizon app after a factory reset, but it’s NOT paired on the website at all? I’ve tried a lot of things and still couldn’t fix it. I reached out to support, but their solution was just to factory reset the headset again—which I’ve already done multiple times. I made sure to connect to a stronger Wi-Fi network, followed the factory reset process correctly, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the Meta Horizon app. Now I’m stuck on the pairing screen on the headset.Solved93Views1like4Commentsquest 3 controllers not working

So, I've had this problem when I got my new desktop. Which had the requirements to use the Meta Quest Link with the RTX 50 series. About 6 months of banging my head against the wall to figure out what was wrong (Meta Quest Support was less than helpful), I have finally found a solution to the infinite loading screen for 5060 Ti graphic cards. Thanks to Google Gemini: https://gemini.google.com/share/1685782c62af Basically you need to do is to turn off asynchronous spacewarp: 1. Open the Oculus Debug Tool (C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusDebugTool.exe). Or (C:\Program Files\Meta Horizon\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusDebugTool.exe). 2. Locate Asynchronous Spacewarp. 3. Change it from "Auto" to Disabled. 4. Go to the top menu: Service > Restart Oculus Service. After these steps you should be able to boot into the Horizon Link home screen (White Grid). The best explanation Gemini gave me as to why this was a problem; "the Meta software likely had a "handshake" bug where it tried to engage ASW unnecessarily during the initial loading phase. Because the 50-series architecture (Blackwell) handles frame generation differently than previous generations, the Quest 2 gets "confused" by the synthesized frames and hangs on those infinite dots." I hope this post gets the attention it needs. Because even with log files, tech support didn't know what caused problem.77Views0likes2CommentsLatest Q3 headset software bricked my controllers...
Anyone else experience this? Factory reset doesn't fix, controller re-pair doesn't fix, holy water sprinkle...nada. Sounds like support has at least heard of it before, as they tell me a software fix is just a couple days away. Of course, that was after they tried to sell me on their out of warranty program. Sorry Meta...you break, you buy.122Views0likes5Comments
