Running App in demo (kiosk) mode on Oculus Touch
My Unreal app, is in the Oculus library. I can start it from the library. Setting up Oculus demo mode, I can select the app from a list. But then if I exit the app, it is not in the demo library (the demo library is empty). So I can't go back to my app. So demo mode means easy exit, no way back!?! (What I really need is simply users not to be able to get to Oculus home during an exhibition) using Unreal 4.19.459Views0likes0CommentsHow to lockdown Oculus Rift VR in KIOSK mode?
Guys, does anyone know any software or solution to put Oculus Rift into KIOSK Mode? I am working as a Developer in a library. We are working on offering the great VR experience to the librarians by putting Oculus Rift to our Digital Media Studio. People can come and experience it for free. Below is our requirement: 1) Put an Oculus Rift into KIOSK Mode. 2) When a user comes in, s/he should see Basic Information or Guide on how to use an Oculus Rift. 3) After a user read the guide, s/he can see 3-4 VR Content to choose from and experience it. A user should not have an access to any other software or anything in the system other than Oculus.946Views0likes2CommentsEnterprise/Business Functionality ? (Kiosk / Demo mode)
Bonjour à tous, / Hi ! [EN] First satisfactory returns on the Oculus Go. But ... Are there any solutions to customize the Oculus Home? Automatic start of applications at the exit of standby or at startup? A mode without Controller? All these small features that would suit a simple 360 video viewing / virtual tour application without too much customer interaction for example. In response to another post @imperativity post although the Oculus Go is customer centric (consumer-centric) and is not made for the Enterprise (at launch ?!) and it's a little pity ...! It would just take a few features to restrict / isolate the vast Oculus environment to deliver concrete business experiences. When will Enterprise / Business features? Go Oculus, we wait for them, we count on you! Oculus Go aims to democratize VR. Yesterday we had 1 or 2 VR headset, on a showroom for example, today it's possible to put as much VR as we have espace on the room. This is the strength of this solution, we need to have the tools to offer an interesting experience to customers. _______________________ Related posts : https://forums.oculusvr.com/community/discussion/64881/demo-mode-for-go https://forums.oculusvr.com/community/discussion/comment/622656#Comment_622656 _______________________ [FR] Premiers retours satisfaisants sur l’Oculus Go. ~ TL825Views1like0Comments
