MQDH - Quest 3 - What are the best settings for streaming to a PC?
Hello, I have Meta Quest 3 and I would like to stream gameplay footage from the headset online wirelessly. Most often, it will involve games like Pavlov Shack, Walkabout Mini Golf, and similar. Currently, I have tested streaming using MQDH Beta Cast 2.0, but the stream often lags and the image is fragmented. Is there any optimal setting for the best possible transmission? Currently, I have tested the following settings: adb shell " setprop debug.oculus.capture.bitrate 30000000 && setprop debug.oculus.capture.fps 30 && setprop debug.oculus.capture.width 1920 && setprop debug.oculus.capture.height 1080 && setprop debug.oculus.cpuLevel 4 && setprop debug.oculus.gpuLevel 4 && setprop debug.oculus.foveation.level 0 && setprop debug.oculus.screenCaptureEye 1 && setprop debug.oculus.refreshRate 90 && setprop debug.oculus.fullRateCapture 1 && setprop debug.oculus.textureWidth 1680 && setprop debug.oculus.textureHeight 1759 && am force-stop com.oculus.vrshell" Are there any other settings for the best quality/performance ratio within streaming that could still be tested? I like many people have recently gotten a Quest 2 as well as a Link cable, on its own the Quest has the ability to record, stream and cast its content wirelessly. However due to potential unreliability's with wireless streaming or casting I was wondering if there is a way to connect the quest via the link cable to a pc in order to use the pc to stream/ cast game content (use it as a video source for software such as stream labs OBS) but maintain the standalone quest dash and library instead of the quest switching to using the pc oculus app because of games that have been purchased on the quest and are not cross play compatible. If this is possible how would i achive this, If it is not possible who else would like to see this or sees the benefit of this feature.740Views1like0CommentsIs it possible to Live stream an "Unknown sources" ?
Hi ! While trying our app, I've seen that I can't stream our app on Facebook or other platform. I have a message like "The developer seams not have allow live stream" but when I check the settings for sharing the app, the live stream is enabled. Is it a features working only with application allow in the Oculus Store and not with "Unknown sources" ? The application is running on Oculus Quest. Capturing photos and vidéo and stream the app on Oculus app are working fine.655Views0likes0CommentsHowTo: Viewing 360° Video in Real-Time from RICOH THETA camera with Oculus Go Browser
Post on external site on how to live stream 360° Video from a RICOH THETA V into Oculus Go using WebVR and the Javascript library A-Frame. Low-cost setup (RICOH THETA + Oculus Go) for building telepresence (or, actually, tons of other) type applications.
