MQDH Record not working
When you press the record button in MQDH 4.9, 5.0.0, 5.0.1 it does nothing. I've also had a soft lock (was unable to save or get out of the window) when attempting to change the record settings in 5.0.1 though this has only happened once. When I revert back to MQDH 4.8 the record feature works fine. Device I'm running has OS 71 installed. Cheers1.1KViews1like4CommentsMQDH not recording my voice
Whenever I’m using the MQDH for recording gameplay videos it doesn’t pickup my quest 3 mic, so my voice is absent ingame footage, and i need this for content creation, This is the step i follow 1. I cast and switch to cinematic to get that sweet wide view 2. I record from there There's not setting indicating wether or not i want my voice captured I hope it would just do that automatically Is there a fix for this Problem???479Views0likes0CommentsIs there any way to access the stream from the MQDH casting and run CV tools over the footage?
I could use OBS or etc. to just screen record on my laptop but I was wondering if there's a way to get frames reasonably fast dynamically while the casting is running? Also, I noticed that taking screenshots or recordings stores the footage on the headset, is there anyway to have it stored locally on my laptop?Solved1.3KViews0likes2CommentsUnable to Connect Quest 2 to Meta Quest Developer Hub
Hi, I have the newest MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.0. I have been trying to connect my Quest 2 to Meta Quest Developer Hub but it doesn't connect, I have changed cables, used different wifi but no luck. I follow the steps "Device Manager > Connect a Device > Meta Quest 2 > Choose Device" my headset pops up but when I try to connect it says "Connection to headset has failed. If the issue persists, try restarting the MQDH." I am on the most recent software for Quest 2 as well as for MQDH. Anyone have this issue or have troubleshooting ideas? I tried to upload a new build for my app through the Meta Quest Devloper Hub. All the previous versions are in Release Channel Production (App Lab), but when I select this during the upload and then submit, I get the error message that this channel does not exist. Why? It's there in the app overview page and I can select it from the dropdown during the submit. What's going wrong? Thanks.Solved2.6KViews1like2CommentsDeveloper Hub - Build Upload Failed - PROCESSING ERROR, API ERROR, ECONNRESET
I am trying to upload a new build of my game through the Meta Quest Developer Hub. I am uploading it to a private release channel for alpha testing. I am getting a number of errors after multiple attempts with a different error each time. I get upload failed errors sometimes showing Processing Error please try again later, API error, or ECONNRESET Network error. I've tried looking at the log files but Im not experienced enough to know what to do. It is strange because I havent had these issues before, I've uploaded multiple builds with the most recent being a little over a week ago. I am using unity 2021, the most recent version of MQDH, and am attempting to upload an apk and single OBB file (2.2 GB). I have tried copying the adb files associated with my unity project and pasting them into the "Meta Quest Developer\resources\bin" file path. I've also tried changing the MQDH ADB file path to match the unity version in the file path "C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2021.3.15f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\SDK\platform-tools" Nothing seems to work and its more strange that different errors pop up instead of a single consistent error. I've made sure my manifest file is correct and am increasing the version and bundle code with each build, and done other things like make sure MQDH is able to pass through my firewall, tried making a fresh release channel. I also sometimes receive this error when attempting to open MQDH and I have to uninstall it and reinstall just to get it to reopen. Am i doing something completely wrong? Here are two of the errors, with the other one saying PROCESSING_ERROR please try again later. I can send log files if needed. Thank you for any help in advance!8.3KViews2likes12CommentsMQDH: CLI not found or does not have permissions to execute
I'm at a loss. I've never had this issue before, but doing a search comes up with several people having this issue, but no answers on how to resolve it. I also reported it as a bug directly through the app, so they do have my logs that say "Unknown error", and the cli reference. Here's the message I got after trying MQDH 2.7.2: I had to downgrade from 4.0.0 to 2.7.2 to get the above error. I had to downgrade because 4.0.0 would no longer let me upload, because it was infinitely trying to "install new cli". Here's what I've tried: re-installed MQDH 4.0.0 (kept showing the spinning progress instead of upload button) installed MQDH 2.7.2, shows upload button but displays that error in my screenshot. upgraded my project to the latest reset the manifest using Unity's "generate compatible manifest", recompiled and tried uploading tried pointing MQDH to one of the other adb.exe files from other Unity versions I'm not sure where to go from here. Thanks in advanceSolved2.1KViews0likes1CommentMultiple Developers using one headset.
We have a Meta Quest Pro and we have multiple developers who want to develop for it. What practical way can this be achieved? It seems that only the owner account can side load apps for testing to the headset and all subsequent accounts are unable to be developer accounts as they can't pair the headset to the Meta Quest mobile app. Considering developer accounts need 2FA activated it's not really practical to share one account so what is the solution here for multiple developers using the same headset?1.8KViews0likes2CommentsDeveloper mode not functioning on iPhone MetaQuest app or MQDH on Mac or PC
Hello! I have now contacted 3 different chats/emails at Meta who have redirected me/haven't been able to help. I am in the last few months of my masters program and have to get an APK from Unity onto my headset ASAP for my thesis! I have a Quest 2 Headset that is updated with the most recent software (just updated it again today– Feb 7th– #49.0.0.186…). I cannot turn developer mode on via my phone app and I cannot connect my Quest 2 to my mac or my PC to the MQDH desktop app (it won't recognize it...and it won't get recognized on SideQuest either). My Quest 2 won't show up as a device on any of these methods, and therefore I can't offload my Unity APKs. I see in forums that this was a major issue starting in December, but that there was a "solution" that was a software update for the Quest 2...wondering if there's a different solution or the issue still isn't fixed or how to go about this? This was the forum I already read and it didn't really answer what was going on and how to solve the problem – https://communityforums.atmeta.com/t5/Get-Help/Resolved-Error-saying-quot-We-re-having-problems-loading-this/m-p/974203 Thank you for your help!
