Newest update is Trash
When I drive before the update, I can play music CarPlay and record at the same time. Now it pauses the music. Also when I picked the one press default to take videos, when I put it in the case and use it again, reverts back to taking a photo. It’s so frustrating. The previous version was way better. Meta please fix asap. It’s unusable and annoying. I don’t even want to use this anymore. anyone else having this same issue? I read one person is also having this issue so far.
Double text message confirmation
Hello - when replying to a text message, several times a day at random Meta will say: Meta - “message to X says blah blah blah, ready to send?” Me - “yes” Meta - “message to X says blah blah blah, ready to send?” Me - “yes” Meta - “message sent” I can’t find a pattern, I always speak clearly and it tends to work on the second try. Anyone else have this issue? This has happened across two pairs of gen 2 glasses paired with an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Meta ai Restyle %0 stuck
I’m experiencing a bug where the Restyle progress screen remains stuck at %0. even though the render actually completes in the background. When the process finishes, I receive a notification, and I can open the final video from the notification without any issues — but the in-app UI never updates and stays at 0%. Hi folks, My Meta Ray-Ban Gen 2 have just updated to software version 20.0. The update description just says "bug fixes and performance updates". As someone who works in tech, jumping whole integer (19 to 20) in software version numbers usually signifies a large update. Sadly, I still don't even have the features that were supposed to be in 19.2 - hyper-lapse, longer video recording etc. What. Is. Going. On. Meta?
Meta RayBan Speaker not working!
I just got these brand new gen 2 meta glasses. I opened them today and only the right speaker plays audio. The left speaker is dead. I tried force restarting and unpairing but still nothing. Is there any way to fix this? I dont want to have to return this because Im supposed to take this to a trip in a few days.

I recently bought the Meta glasses from Florida USA, but I am unable to use the most optimal feature or prompts like “Hey Meta , Whats in front of me”. Hi, if I set the auto capture function to automatic when I start an activity with my Garmin watch, there is no problem, but if I set it to manual and try to activate it vocally, I can't get it to start. I am Italian and I have set the Vanguard Meta language to Italian. Do you think it's a translation issue? In Italian, auto capture is called “acquisizione automatica.” I've tried everything, even pronouncing it clearly in English, but I can't get it to work. Can you help me? This is really frustrating. I don't want it automatic because it is draining the battery, I just want to let it start when I decide it. Thank you very much.
