AI feature unavailable for my region when I am living in USA
My app or glasses does not have Meta AI feature for my GEN 2 glasses. When I login with my husband‘s account, the matter AI app has the metal AI feature as well as the glasses, however when I log back in as myself, the matter AI features on the app are gone. The glasses AI feature no longer working. I kept getting a message says that the feature is not available in my region. I checked my phone, my location is shared with Meta AI and the phone setting is In the USA as well. I also checked Facebook setting, I cannot find any place I can verify if my region is set in the USA. Anyone has similar situation?2KViews0likes5CommentsMeta RayBan Speaker not working!

As other have reported there is an issue getting the Meta AI app to connect to Garmin. Got excactly the same issue as reported here: Oakley Meta Vanguard can't connect to Garmin from Meta AI | Meta Community Forums - 1350499 -- I'm using an iPhone and have the following issue trying to connect my Meta AI app to Garmin Connect. Starting in the Meta AI app: Open Devices -> Vanguard -> App connections Select Garmin Press "Connect Garmin" Press "Yes, allow" on "Allow connection to Garmin?" screen This open the Garmin Connect app on a "Meta AI" screen Press "Agree" on "Connect with Meta AI?" form This opens a link to facebook.com in Safari. I'm not sure what the full link is. What appears is my facebook feed, with a callout box at the bottom of the page reading "The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed" -- Have tried to delete and reinstall the Meta app 2 times. Same error. No change. Tried to mess around with language settings as I'm on Norwegian settings for phone, Meta AI and Garmin app. Glasses are Oakley Vanguard and my Garmin device is Garmin Edge 1050. Kind of in a dead end here and help would be nice.Solved1.5KViews0likes10CommentsMeta AI - What Am I Looking At - Not Available in My Region - California
Hello, I recently purchased a pair of Oakley Vanguard glasses. After setting them up, I tried using Meta AI by asking, What am I looking at? but I keep receiving the message, Asking what you see is not yet available in your region. I’ve tried a factory reset, unpairing and repairing the glasses, enabling location services, and confirming that both the Meta AI app and the glasses are up to date, but nothing has worked. I live in California. Does anyone have a fix for this?Solved1KViews0likes6CommentsWake word change confusion v 19.1
For the past two years, I’ve been saying “Okay Meta” as the wake word on my Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses — and it’s always worked perfectly. After updating my Gen 2 Wayfarer to version 19.1, though, the glasses no longer respond properly. The LED lights up and you hear the activation sound, but it shuts off almost immediately. Say “Hey Meta”, the official wake word, and everything works as normal. When I switch to my Gen 1 Headliner, “Okay Meta” still works fine with version 19.1. Has anyone else noticed this change? It may be that Meta was previously more liberal in recognising slight variations of the official wake word, and that the Gen 2 firmware is now stricter in how it maps and processes them. After updating to v19.1, I thought I’d broken Meta Assistant functionality. Relieved I tried a slightly different wake word — more by accident than design! I’m having to unlearn a habit built over the past two years. With the wake word change, saying “Hey Meta” instead of “Okay Meta” feels unnatural and already tough going. After a day of use, I keep saying “Okay Meta”… and nothing happens. It’s surprisingly frustrating when something so small breaks the flow. I really hope Meta makes the assistant more liberal with wake word recognition again. “Okay Meta” is stuck in my mind — and hard to shift.Solved944Views1like17CommentsiPad Meta AI app does not work without smart glasses
I do not have smart glassses. I am just trying to use the Meta AI app. It works on my iPhone, but not iPad. The app always takes me to a glasses setup screen with a list of glasses to choose from. It is impossible to get around it to use the AI. Many people have said this is in the app reviews. Look at the one star reviews. This forum is the closest I could find to a Meta AI app support forum. When I launch the app, there are two options. "Get started with Meta AI" and "Set up a device". BOTH of them take you to the same place - a login screen then the smart glasses setup.900Views0likes5CommentsCannot turn on my meta glasses
I’ve already placed the glasses in the charging case for more than 7 hours while the charging case itself was plugged in. When I remove the glasses from the case and then put them back in, the notification LED flashes white and then turns green. At that moment, the glasses can connect to the Meta AI app. When I take the glasses out of the case, the connection disappears, and the glasses become completely unresponsive. No matter how I slide the power button or press the capture button, the notification LED does not light up. I have also tried resetting to factory settings and pairing again. When I press and hold the button on the back of the case, the front button does not turn blue. I have to keep the glasses inside the case and hold the capture button for several seconds until the notification LED on the glasses starts blinking blue. Only then can the glasses be paired. However, I cannot perform the same steps when the glasses are outside the case. Once the glasses are out of the case, they are completely dead. What is wrong with my glasses? This is my second use after purchased this toy 2 years ago.809Views0likes3CommentsRay-Ban Meta WORKAROUND: Carplay Music Pausing when Meta Ray-Ban s recording! IT WORKS!
So in frustration, I sat in my car at 1AM to try and figure out this BS update that ruined the glasses feature that EVERYONE LOVED! Here’s my work around. META if you’re watching, attention, pay attention to this. For IOS 26.2 users (most recent update) While your in the car connected to Carplay Settings -Bluetooth -Click the i next to your Ray-Bans -Click Disconnect -Your metas should make a sound to acknowledge it’s disconnected from your phone Then you can play music and record at the same time. -Youll most likely have to repeat the process every time you get in your car until Meta gets their ish together. Thanks everyone! Hope this helps! Video tutorial: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSkBACzCTSK/?igsh=Z29pN3YyNnVicW9x542Views1like0Comments
