When I try to login (to META) it asks for a selfie, but as shown in the screenshot (from the META login page) it won't let me upload. As I can't upload a selfie I can't access META support, which means I've had to create a brand new META account just to get support. 😤 Can you please help? Hi, thank you for reading my post. As the title states, my account is about to be converted to an adult, but I cannot log in as there is no email linked to my account as I know of, my parent does not recall creating my account with an email and only entering in a username. I'm using a throwaway account just to get to the forums and support team (well, I tried to) Does anybody know any way to assign an email and password to my account so I can log in? I am trying to get in contact with support but the support page says 'The Meta Support Team cannot help you with problems with your account, but you can visit the FAQs' and they did not help at all. I am trying all the methods of trying to get in contact with the support team to help me. Please, help me, my account will be deleted on the 14th of June if I do not get my account converted. Meta, if you are reading this post, the system needs serious upgrades. Why can't it just give the instructions in the Meta Horizon app instead of sending me emails to my account that has no email linked to it, nor a phone number? Looks like a lot of people are getting this message when trying to purchase something. Wondering if anyone has been able to resolve it? I've had a ticket in 2 weeks, and they won't respond to me. If I start a chat to ask questions about it I'm told they have to close the chat to get me a status, then I get an email with a generic message telling me, they need more time. It's odd you can't call anyone to get help, or they don't send updates or anything. I'm not sure I've ever dealt with such poor support. (It's a dumb solution but what I've done is setup a separate account, using the same credit cards and I gift myself what I want from my other account, that's worked for me, but it does not appear to work for game dlc/expansions) Other messages about this state the solution is to put in a support ticket, that might be the only way to resolve it, I don't know, but so far, I 've not found anyone that has been helped by support. As I haven't used my Meta Quest3 device for a long time, I need to re-login to my Meta account. I still have the email associated with my account and can receive verification codes through it. I'd love to buy games. But meta doesn't seem to want me to. I want to add my card to my meta quest 3s. I've done it every way I can tell. I don't understand. I've tried using auth.meta.com, other setting, add card but I get "sorry we can't add your payment method". On the quest 3s, it says can't verify zip code. Yet, it's correct. I have now been fighting with meta for 2 months about using my metal wallet to purchase games. We bought one game and now they've decided that there was suspicious activity on the account and they've shut it down. I've spent the whole 2 months contacting the help tasks and they've been telling me very helpful things like "I'm following up to let you know that your case is still under review, and we truly appreciate your patience while we work toward a resolution...Our support team is giving this matter the attention it deserves and coordinating with the necessary departments...We understand how important this is to you and want to ensure that when we follow up, we're providing accurate and helpful information....Although there are no updates just yet, you have our assurance that we'll keep you informed every step of the way." I have spent the past few months noticing that my Quest 3s will not charge unless the Quest 3s is powered off. I finally decided to contact Meta Support and dealt with one of the rudest Customer Service Representatives I have ever had the dishonor of dealing with. I tried a Software Update, Factory Reset, Boot load, etc. I tried every option from Forums or other Social Media locations. The issue started after a Firmware Update after my 1 Year Warranty expired. So, naturally I bring this to this person's attention and instead, I get told that I can purchase a replacement. I ask to have my ticket escalated, but I'm told that can't be done because it isn't an issue worth escalating. So, an issue brought on by a Meta update can't be fixed because it's outside of my warranty and the ticket can't be escalated? Has anyone else dealt with your Quest not charging unless powered off?
