Hello Meta Support, I am experiencing a series of issues regarding account management on my Quest device: Cannot Add Profile: When trying to add a new account, it shows "You are unable to be added to this device at this time." App Sharing Error: I cannot enable App Sharing, receiving the error "Something went wrong." Invite Error: Failed to send invite links with the error "There was a problem sending the invite." I have checked my internet connection and both device and app are up to date. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks!270Views0likes9Comments8 digit code to connect child
Hi all, I have a Meta Quest 2 and I am logged in on my parent account. Credit card set up and I've made purchases before. I add my child in Family Center, and they show up in the Horizon app, so that's good. However, in the Horizon app, I go to my device "Manage Profiles" and there is no button to add, I can only see my 1 connected profile. If I go to the profiles in the headset itself, it asks for the new user's email address, but my child's account doesn't have an email address. If I try going to meta.com/device I see my account and my child's account, however in order to add them to the headset it asks for an 8-digit code. No code appears in the headset or anywhere else that I can see. I only have my 5-digit pairing code I found in the settings, but that doesn't help. I've tried restarting the headset, no change. Can anyone help unstick me?30Views0likes1Commentmeta horizon link/ quest 2 / new update connecting error

My airlink was not working for oculus link nor steamvr. I looked for 4 hours for solutions online. I ended up deleting my entire oculus file on my pc and it didn't work. I went through all of the troubleshooting methods. then I used virtual desktop, but it was too laggy. So i read somewhere that factory resetting my headset could fix it. So since it was my last ditch effort, i decided to. Now all of my games and apps are missing and i only have one account with two emails. all of my apps are missing on the mobile app, the website, and on the headset. I have tried verifying my headset on this account using the serial number on the left side of the headset. It did not recognize my serial number. I have tried using the email that I purchased the headset with. It did not recognize the device. I have tried looking for my receipt. my receipt is gone. I do not know what to do. Edit: I solved it. it was an issue with one of the names on my internet not being able to airlink. While i still cant airlink on that wifi, i just decided to make a new network with the app on my phone that lets me control the wifi. This solved the problem. This is a very unique issue, and i doubt anyone would find the solution satisfactory. However, if you have multiple modems with a tp link router, you might want to try resetting your wifi, unplugging your ethernet, and making a new wifi connection with the app and connect both your pc and your headset to that connection in order to get airlink to work. This method fixed both steamvr and link.Solved116Views0likes9CommentsProfile/Group chat issues
Me and my friend group which includes 3 friends have been playing vr for a while and we have never ran into this issue, The day I got my meta quest 3s I factory reset my quest 2 to give to my brother as a gift, that had my account and one of my friends accounts on it. After that I hopped only to play with my friends and the friend that had his account on my headset was having issues joining a call that had one specific person in it, it would instantly kick them or not allow them to join the group call same with the other friend they tried unfollowing each other and at one point it did not allow them to add each other back when they were eventually able to follow each other again it would not allow them to call each other on both meta quest horizon and on the actual headset the call option had been removed in addition whenever they would send messages to each other it would not be sent and show a error symbol and say the message was never received. They tried factory resetting which allowed them to text only in group chats and29Views0likes1CommentQuest Link stuck on purple screen after recent update (Quest 2 & Quest 3)
Hi, After a recent update, Quest Link is stuck on a purple screen and PCVR Home never loads. What’s happening: Meta PC App shows the headset as Connected / Active Inside the headset, Link starts but stays on the purple screen No PCVR Home environment appears Tested hardware: Quest 3 Quest 2 (Same issue on both) Tested PCs: Two different Windows PCs (Same behavior) What I already tried: Factory reset (Quest 3) Cable-only Link (Air Link off) Different USB ports (rear motherboard ports) Meta PC App service restart No SteamVR, no Unreal Engine running OpenXR runtime set correctly GPU forced via NVIDIA Control Panel Windows graphics scheduling disabled The issue persists in all cases. Important context: I am using Quest Link for PhD research and VR application development, and this issue is currently blocking my work. My questions: Is this a known regression in recent Horizon OS / Meta PC App updates? Has Meta acknowledged this issue? Is there an estimated fix timeframe or upcoming hotfix? Is there any official workaround at the moment? Thanks in advance.Solved296Views0likes7CommentsMeta PC software can't reach Meta Quest Link services.
