Error while making a purchase: Feature unavailable
I can't purchase anything on the Meta Store anymore. It used to work just fine. My last successful purchase was on January 11. But then it just stopped working and whenever I try to buy anything, I get an error message: "Feature unavailable Your request could not be completed. This feature is currently not available to you. Please try again later." I already contacted support and have an open case, but I've been having back and forth with them for a week now and nothing they do seems to help. It's the same on all devices: headset, phone, pc. The same with three different payment methods. No restarting, clearing cash, fresh logins, incognito mode, vpns. Nothing works. Support said they had made some changes to my account and now it should work, like three times. And to make sure changes apply to wait 24 hours. Again I did that and nothing helped. I found threads on reddit and here with the same issue, and nothing seems to work, and support couldn't help in any case. So, I've bought my meta headset in the store, and I can't just buy games anymore? What should I do?550Views0likes18CommentsQuest 3 not charging and black screen along with zero charging light

Hi, I have about 20 Meta Quest 3 headset. I mostly develop for them hands free, so I don't care about the controllers at all. The things is all the controllers got mixed up. I want to do factory reset on many devices but I can't proceed without pairing some controllers, but they don't pair because they are paired to hell knows what device with hell know which account. I need to re-pair them without accessing original account as it mentioned in support: https://www.meta.com/help/quest/967070027432609/ Also this factory reset method for the controllers don't work too: Quest 3 controller pairs but none of the buttons work - 1107964 Please help me solve this controllers hell.58Views0likes5CommentsWe need to talk about the Meta Quest Software.
Hello, my name is Mateus Camargo, I'm a developer from Brazil, and I recently got a Meta Quest 3S. While the hardware itself is impressive, the software experience has some severe flaws. I’d like to highlight three major issues that aren't just bothering me, but a significant portion of the community as well. 1. System Performance and Fluidity The Horizon OS feels noticeably unoptimized. Simple tasks lack fluidity, and occasional stutters break the immersion entirely. Paradoxically, each system update seems to degrade performance instead of improving it. The OS needs a deep optimization pass to become lighter, more responsive, and efficient. 2. Lack of Environment Variety (The Horizon Home) The Horizon Home experience has become incredibly monotonous. We used to have access to a wider variety of environments. While the new default environment (Valley) looks beautiful, the current lack of options feels like a step backward. Stripping away diversity ruins the personal connection users have with their virtual space. 3. Missing Basic Productivity Tools It is frustrating that a powerful standalone headset lacks fundamental tools like a native Calculator, Stopwatch, or Notepad. While competing devices include these by default, Quest users are forced to rely on unofficial workarounds or heavy browser tabs just to take a quick note. Implementing basic, lightweight native productivity apps should be a priority. I hope the software team takes this feedback into consideration. The hardware is great, but the software needs to match its potential.34Views0likes2CommentsQuest 3 Really slow charging since 2.4 update
Hi all, Hope you are all keeping well. My Quest 3 was working perfectly..... until it updated to v2.4 Now 3 different chargers (100w, 65w & 40w) take nearly 24 hours to charge the Q3 from 19% to 100%. Each charger is working perfectly with every other device I plug in to them. The cables I use are rated up to 100w charging. The 100w charger I have been using with my Q3 for around 18 months now and never had an issue until the Q3 updated to v2.4. It still charges my BOBOVR batteries using BOBOVR's charging dock (the docks display screen show it pulling 90w's to charge the 3 batteries). Up until the Q3 updated to v2.4 when I connectect the charger the power light on my Quest turned soild orange until it fully charged then turned green. Since the update when I connect any of the 3 chargers the light flashes orange for a few minutes then turns soild orange. I have done a few things recommended in other forum posts, hold the power and volume- key for 30 seconds to power cycle it. Holding down the volume key when starting up (think is goes in to the developer type menu where you can fatory reset your headset) and selected shutdown from in there. I've even went as far as doing a factory reset. None of these help. As I type this I have it connected to a 40w charger, it has been charging (powered off) 2 hours 37 minutes and it has went from 71% to 75%. I don't have the orginal charger that came with it as it died around 5 months after buying the Q3. Reported it to Meta and they sent me a link to buy a new charger. Anyone know of anything else i can try or how to downgrade the OS to 2.1 please? I really don't want to have to spend more money on a new quest 3. Thank you in advance for any help given.53Views0likes4CommentsPlease help me.
Please help me. Meta arranged a replacement for my Quest 3, and I received a refurbished device. I followed the setup instructions you provided, but the controllers showed an error and I could not proceed with the setup. I contacted support about this issue. The chat support team told me the controllers were defective, but the email support team told me the headset was defective, so I was not sure what the actual cause was. Because of that, I sent back the headset and both controllers together. I clearly informed support that I shipped the headset and both controllers together, and I also provided the controller serial numbers and the shipping documents. However, today I only received one controller back. Also, the Quest 3 headset I received is still in the exact same defective condition as before. I have already tried a factory reset, and I also tried holding down the controller buttons to pair them again, but I still get the same error and cannot proceed with setup. I have already followed all the troubleshooting steps, but the problem has not been fixed. I do not know what else I can do. Could you please check this situation urgently and tell me what happened to my other controller and how this defective headset issue will be resolved?38Views0likes1CommentQuest 3 blowing air and won’t turn on
I just purchased a meta quest 3 about 2 weeks ago and the screen would turn black when I had it on. I wouldn’t even be able to type in my passcode by the time it turned black. I did what was said to hold the power and volume buttons for 10 seconds and once I did that it turned off and started blowing air from the front side of the headset. I’ve put it on a charger, held all 3 buttons for 30 seconds+ and still nothing. It’s been 10 minutes and it’s still just blowing out air.Solved21KViews0likes27CommentsViewing Quest Achievements
We're coming up on a year and we still don't have an official way to view and sort the Quest Achievements that we put forth effort unlocking in our massive VR libraries. Developers continue to include them in games as they know it yields extended play sessions and even users revisiting their games to experience every ounce of the hard work they put into their projects. Currently we can only view them in a recently unlocked list in the Meta Horizon Mobile App, and external websites created by Quest users (which are the most useful way at the moment). People didn't even realize Achievements existed because it was hidden in the Scoreboards App, and users hoped for integration into the Profile itself, similar to Steam, Xbox, and PS. Instead, we were left with a misunderstanding of how important Achievements are to the Quest ecosystem. At the very least, could we please get a way to filter by game/in-progress/completed in the Horizon Mobile App? We would love to see them in-headset eventually, but even a small step forward would revitalize our play sessions. 🙏2.9KViews6likes17CommentsSon locked out of account and asked for ID
Hi all, having no success via the support email I thought I’d try here. My son was recently blocked from his account as it claimed he wasn’t 13 and needed to provide ID. He doesn’t have ID but before I even get to that the page requesting ID to be submitted doesn’t work - I click the button and nothing happens, I’ve tried on a browser and in app. No joy. Has anyone had any joy with this? He’s also vanished from under my account page which I previously used to manage his profile. He recently has a birthday so I don’t know if that’s the issue, or that he did the dot passcode and was unable to log back in because of that particular error, but any suggestions welcome or should I just accept the account is lost along with the games on it?545Views0likes11CommentsDisable Boundary in Quest 3
Can we disable Boundary in Quest 3? I know this is possible in Quest/Quest 2. The large contingent of Quest users who Sim race or use flight simulators need our headsets to not be looking for a boundary or doing anything but displaying while we sit in our rigs.49KViews12likes55Comments
