Link doesn't work at all after the new update
I wanted to play VR one day as i tried linking my meta quest 3s to the computer via cable but then it began to load for forever, tried via air link:same problem. hi good afternooon, irecnetly updated my son's meta quest 3s and during the update the device crashed and reset, this led to the device being corrupted and now stuck in usb update mode, out of all the options that are available nothing works about from device info, when ever i press factory reset or power off the device or boot device it just flashes screens and reloads the USB Update mode again, even when i plug it into my pc to use the update tool provided on your website, my pc isn't picking it up due to it being stuck iun this boot mode, is there anyway i can fix this issue my self??? i look forward to hearing from you Brad315Views0likes16CommentsA strange white light came on while my Quest 3S was charging.
Hello, everyone! I have a question about my Meta Quest 3S. Tonight, I put my headset on charge because I noticed that the battery was low, but I also noticed that after a while, the charging indicator light changed from orange to white and the lenses activated. Since the 22nd, my 3s keeps going black every time I turn it on. The meta os startup works but then after it just goes black and my controllers keep making beeping noises. On the 22nd, I kept having to find different solutions but next time I turn it on, it stops working again. As of today it just keeps going black OR saying finding position. I tried cleaning it, resetting it, rebooting it, and nothing works. Any ideas on how to fix it? (Note: I only got this back in April 2025, hasn't even been a year yet which is very disappointing.) Hi, I have a problem with my Meta quest 3s. White or clear images (including writing) appear with glows on a black background. This also applies to the dashboard (with a white theme especially, but slightly scanned with the black theme) when I use the headset in a dark environment. When the logo appears I give an app that I start on a black screen has 'stripes' as if I had dirty glasses (I also wear glasses but they are quite clean, as well as the lenses of the headset) and it also happens to me with the light of any element of the game (same light bulbs). I'm undecided whether to make a return or keep it, because I don't know if it's a defect or it's right like this. I know that fresnel lenses have this factory defect but it seems more accentuated to me. When I activate the immersive house (very bright environment) the halos disappear. Several of my friends have tried to invite group members to their immersive home loft, but it is grayed out still. We can invite and/or go to any world, but not to our individual lofts. We have tried all troubleshooting found in help. Nothing works. Our friends used the old home invite all the time to hang in a private space with minimal environmental distractions. ALL of my friends are having this issue regardless of headset version (our group has Q2, Q3S, and Q3 headsets and all are running current OS). I purchased a Meta Quest 3s recently I am trying to get in contact with Meta support but I am stuck in the endless loop. The website is saying: We couldn’t find any devices associated with this Meta account And when I enter my serial number it says support is not available for this device. I am about ready to return the device because there is no way to get in touch with support. I even reached out on social media and have gotten no response. PLEASE HELP! I bought 2 quests 3s headsets for my kids for christmas off of amazon and they were working fine for 3 days until 1 of them just shut off mid use and went all black. the charging light wont come on or anything, ive tried holding the power button with and without the volume button and nothing happens visually or audibly. when i tried going through the support page i get stopped because my devices dont show up under the my devices tab even though purchases were mad from them, and media has been saved from them. i have tried putting in the serial number but for some reason it says "support isnt available for this device" so i cant escalate to a real person to try to help me figure this out. please help, my son loves his headset so much and he is very upset with this46Views0likes1Comment
