Meta quest 3s screen resolution is low
Hi, I bought a meta QUEST 3s a few days ago (second hand). Before buying it, I watched a lot of videos. The screen quality and mixed reality was good in the videos, but after buying it, when I started using it I noticed that it is not as good as the videos, especially the application icons in the main menu are blurry.When I open a video from YouTube, even though I set the quality to 1440 or 4k, the video quality remains visibly lower than 1080p. Even objects very close to me in games or in the main menu are blurry. The mixed reality quality is not as good as in the videos. There is a lot of tingling and the quality is extremely low. Is this a hardware or software problem? Or is it just the device that makes it seem weird to me?Immersive Home Loft Invite Issue
Several of my friends have tried to invite group members to their immersive home loft, but it is grayed out still. We can invite and/or go to any world, but not to our individual lofts. We have tried all troubleshooting found in help. Nothing works. Our friends used the old home invite all the time to hang in a private space with minimal environmental distractions. ALL of my friends are having this issue regardless of headset version (our group has Q2, Q3S, and Q3 headsets and all are running current OS). Please fix this issue ASAP with the new immersive home loft. Thanks!
Battery can't touch battery contact in Quest 3s controller
As you can see the battery contact on the right controller somehow moved down a bit and when I put in a battery it doesn't touch it so the controller doesn't receive power and doesn't work, atleast that's what I think is happening. I don't want to pull the contact back up cause I am scared I will break it even more but if there is nothing else I can do than I will try it. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Meta quest 3s stuck in usb update mode
hi good afternooon, irecnetly updated my son's meta quest 3s and during the update the device crashed and reset, this led to the device being corrupted and now stuck in usb update mode, out of all the options that are available nothing works about from device info, when ever i press factory reset or power off the device or boot device it just flashes screens and reloads the USB Update mode again, even when i plug it into my pc to use the update tool provided on your website, my pc isn't picking it up due to it being stuck iun this boot mode, is there anyway i can fix this issue my self??? i look forward to hearing from you Brad
Quest 3s mic stopped working
This kind of sounds like I’m asking for help with no real solution. my quest 3s headset has been absolutely amazing with a bit of lagging but honestly pretty great so far. Recently I was playing VRCHAT and my mic just suddenly stopped working? No issues up until then with my mic. i’ve done everything, checked the settings a million times on both vrchat and quest, I restarted my headset, factory reset my entire headset which was a hassle tbh. And I’ve tried it with other applications such as browser and I’ve gotten the notification that my mic is in use, just not picking up my voice. if I scream really loud or click on the screen is picks up the tiniest bit but it doesn’t really work aside from that. any help would be appreciated! I miss being able to talk :)Rename Headset on Meta Horizon
I have 3 headsets, 2 Meta Quest 3S's and 1 Meta Quest 3. I would like to change the device nicknames on the Meta Horizon app so I can differentiate between the 2 Meta 3S's without having to remember which serial # belongs to which one. Is there a way to do this on the consumer side? Only posts I found about it were 1 year or older and they only mentioned it being capable on the Developer side of things.
Unknown Sources missing on new profile in Quest 3S after V81 PTC Update (Developer Mode Enabled)
Hi, I need help with an issue on my Meta Quest 3S. There are three profiles on the headset: 1. Owner (primary profile) 2. Secondary profile 3. My new profile (my own Meta account) Unknown Sources shows correctly on the owner and secondary profiles. But on my new profile, the Unknown Sources tab does not appear at all in the App Library. This issue started after updating to V81 PTC. Steps I already tried: - Created a new Meta account using Gmail - Logged into the Meta Horizon app with the same account - Joined / created a Developer Organization - Developer Mode is enabled in the Meta Horizon / Meta Link app - Restarted the headset multiple times - Device owner confirmed Developer Mode is still On I am wondering if this is a known bug on V81 PTC for additional profiles on Quest 3S. Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Scratched quest lens and cant fill out warrenty form
My quest 3s lens are a little scratched from what seems to be my eyelashes. I already did a comunity form but this one is if anyone can help me fill out a warrenty form. When i sign in it says no devices are linked to my meta account and when i enter in the serial number for verify other ways it says that it is not a serial number. Also if any body has tips on filling out warrenty can you leave a comment
