Hello! I would like to know if there is a way to install an x-system for oculus quest 2. I serve a software called A\VROS, and using it on Quest 2 would be possible, if I can get root access to android linux. Ofc, users need root access to install and configure linux software, with the x-system, so I'm interested if this is possible, or is it against some kind of ToS? Using A\VROS is possible with a link cable and external computer, but its not optimal for quest 2 that has its own linux based operating system, and can do everything a PC can do, if given enough access to software installs.3.9KViews0likes2CommentsE-mail verification

I have been creating a game which I am hoping to get onto the Quest 2 in the future. Whilst everything has been running smoothly using the XR plugins I was recently told that for games to be published within Oculus the Integration kit needs to be used and XR is not supported on a official Oculus title. Can anybody shed some light on this please? Hi guys, how you all doing? I'm having a problem with trying to add Oculus online Subsystem working on my project that it keeps crashing every time i try to run it on my Quest 2 and i dont know why. I though it had something to do with my blueprints that i created, so i tried to create a new project with just adding the Oculus online Subsystem but it keeps doing the same error and i dont know what to do. I tried searching the internet for answers but alas didnt found anything that could help me. If someone knows why this is happening i would be very grateful of you could help me. Thanks in advance! At first I was all-about making a VR multiplayer game, however there are certain parts that would not work well in VR at all. What is the easiest way to build a game with 2D or 3D rooms that transition into VR? Is it even possible to do it seamlessly? Or are there apps and programs already dedicated to this that I haven't been able to find? Or would it be better to buy Unreal?
